Aww Jelly Bean poor you. I feel for you with hubby. My ex used to tell me that he was being careful then I would go into the corner shop ( where at that time we had an account) and be asked to pay £50/ £60 for money owed. It drove me crazy because it was for things like a roll and sausage. It was the same when we were trying to stop smoking. I would always find ciggies somewhere and he would have been lying to me all along. Needless to say I now dont smoke and he is still puffing away. Good luck with this one. but £30k !!!!!!:eek:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Its ok his cards are in peices and he cant spend on them. i have also gone online and changed all his passwords so he cant request a new card. At least he has been paying them thats one thing i suppose but one card had 16 quid credit on and now has 400 quid on it. I will get the small ones paid off somehow and he can carry on with the big ones, just wish it was on one card not 6!!!! With my estimates we will be over our dfd by a couple of months. It was just a bit of a shock as i thought it was a couple of hundred on there, he been paying his business bills on there hence the business paying for them. What i dont understand is the accounts say he made a good profit last year and he not drawing any money out so i dont know where it going. As i said to him i managed to pay off nearly 5k in 2 months god knows how but it goes to show how much i wasted beforehand. Any way onwards and upwards.Mum 30k/29000

Right think im gonna shoot myself just had waterbill through and omg it was 500 quid for 6 months. i know we are the most expensive for water in dorset but think we must be watering the bloody street. Need to get hubby to check stopcock and turn it off and see if we have a leak. how can it be that much when we at work all the time.? now gonna 95 a month having a laff. Wouldnt be so bad if we had a swimming pool!!!!
Have some listing to on ebay but keep looking at it and it dont happen on its own lol. Had a good day in tips today so another 20 in the pot thats 260/1900. Hope i can keep this up and get it all paid by nov, just in time for christmas.
Had thought of selling my car and get bus to train station and train to work but it would cost me 6.70 a day over 40 quid a week and a lot of hanging around because of my working hours so def a no no. Esp 6 oclock on a sat morning then the buses dont run so taxi would cost a bomb. nahh have to keep the car cause i aint walking 8 miles each way lol (just incase any of u suggest it )lolMum 30k/29000

You're doing well with paying your tips into the 100 day challenge. That will be brilliant if you got rid of £1900. I cant believe how much water costs you down south. We just pay a few pounds in with our council tax every month but then again Scotland has never been known to have a water shortage5 Year plan. Hey Jellybean,
I have just read your whole thread, you've come such a long way in such a short space of time! I too am in the 1 debt in 100 days challenge and without being dramatical, it's changed my life! I now see eliminating debt and setting myself free as a game. It really does get you to think differently about how to save and earn more money. I don't know if I'll make my total of £6769 as I lumped all of my debts together for the challenge, but even if I don't, I'll know that I've thrown everything I had at it! (I felt your pain car boot selling your handbags.)
Well done for turning your life around, I've found that I actually feel stronger and more in control of my own life now that I've finally woken up to the cold hard facts and figures of my situation. It's so empowering and I'm never going to allow myself to be a passenger in my own life again!!
Keep up the good work, your gaining momentum now.

I am so determined to get most paid off my xmas 2012 if i can possibly do it, if i keep going like i am no probs at all.
