All good answers to the question of why the driver followed the so called 'b1tch'. However my question was why he followed her in order to get her registration number when he was already in possession of said info.
I doubt he memorised the registration number beforehand because he didn't know the car was going to do a hit and run until it was too late.0 -
Have to agree with pendulum when you witness something like that your hardly going to say, i'll get the number plate later as I have it on my dash cam. With the shock of witnessing that and the adrenaline he just wanted to make sure she didn't get away with it so needed to phone the police, let them know where she is going and the reg number.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0

That webpage crashes my computer. Does it state that such a prosecution took place on that date?0 -

I know this is probably wrong, but I hope she gets some proper justice now that 4chan are on the job and her identity has / or is very near to being discovered.
That is what the courts are for, not the vigilantes. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

All good answers to the question of why the driver followed the so called 'b1tch'. However my question was why he followed her in order to get her registration number when he was already in possession of said info. It was a rhetorical question, as it happens. I only mentioned it because it struck rather a false note with me, and rather made me suspect that the incident may well have been staged.Erm, sounds like I'm stating the obvious here, but the registration number is recorded on the dash cam... he needs to report the accident to the police immediately... so he doesn't have time to go home and view the video. He may also have momentarily forgot he even had a dash cam because of the shock and adrenalin.
I doubt he memorised the registration number beforehand because he didn't know the car was going to do a hit and run until it was too late.
I don't think the resolution was all that good and therefore doesn't show the registration number very clearly. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

No it's not, it defaults to todays date for all courts.0 -

How did you come to the conclusion he was a security guard though??
Because after the guy gets out he goes on the CB to his base or something, and someone asks him 'where are you?' over the CB0
