But she was convicted of a crime for which she got a 2yr suspended prison sentence, so surely there should be an easily traced public record of that conviction.
Anyway - I may have been proved wrong - It now appears that there is article in The Times Online - search "Southall hit and run". I can't read the article as I don't subscribe, but it would be interesting know what it said.0 -
If it proven fake, the guy is in trouble.... Speeding, mobile phone, obstructing the highway, etc etc etc.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Have you got a link? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Exactly, I'm not that bothered about the issue that I'd pay a quid to find out.
I guess it shows that I'm either very tight or will argue about anything !0 -

Well, by all accounts it's definitely real. Apologies for taking the thread off at a tangent. I'm quite sad it's real as it means there really people like her sharing the road with the rest of us.
"The defendant (Miss/Mrs **********) was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court and given a 12 month sentence suspended for two years, 200 hours community service, ordered to pay £500 compensation and banned from driving for three years. She will also have to take an extended driving test before she is allowed back on the road."
That does not seem like an appropriate punishment to me considering the deliberate level of disregard for other peoples lives she demonstrated.0 -
Any chance of a link JQ?The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
