A quick update from me. I have £20 JL vouchers sitting on the bookcase and another £10 in the post somewhere on its way to me, so am currently on target (and slightly ahead!:p) for the £10/month challenge for both Mr P and myself! :j
Launched a quick attack at the boots.com website last week. Got lots of presents for birthdays through the year/Christmas - all of which were at least 33% off, and many were 50% off. Plus got a code for 1000 extra points + free delivery, so now have £12+ on Boots card, to be redeemed in December for free pressies (hopefully on the 3 for 2 deal;)). Have also started building up the WHSmith card with a free 200pts voucher that I found on the vouchers board here - thank you!
Hope everyone else is doing well - just think how happy we'll be in 10 months time when everyone else is going crazy spending cash they don't really have and we are just cashing in on our freebie points from here, there and everywhere!! :rotfl:

Forgot to post when I updated my sig the other day
The sales have been so good, that taking my existing vouchers etc into account I'm already in credit by about £30
And that's not counting the actual cash savings in the bank - which means I can use them for some days out in the summer insteadDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
I'm on the cash savings waggon as well as Pigsback vouchers - I 'slim skim' my current account occasionally which helps - ie: if I have £257.90 in it, I will slim skim the £2.90 to my ICICI savings to leave a rounded £255 in my current account. Painless and it works - I recommend it, especially if you do phone or internet banking - builds up in no time and completely painless.MFW #185

I do that with my purse (anything smaller than a 20 pence piece goes into a jar, then it's banked every time it's full), but never thought of doing it with the bank accounts until recently
We're with the TSB, and their 'save the change' scheme (which is effectively the same thing) kicks in on 1st February, so we'll see how it goes from there.

I have changed the name on one of my ING accounts to Christmas Savings and I plan to put £100 in there each payday, I won't need £1200 just for Christmas presents and food but I did something similar this year and my CC bill this month is less than £50. We also have mosy of our family birthdays around the end of the year so it does get expensive.
I still have enough wrap, gift boxes and cards for at least another year, bought for pennies last January. I haven't bought any presents yet but plan to buy things on special offer, Boots triple points offers etc.0 -
Well I'll have to be even more reliant on vouchers this year... Our wedding date is May 2008 and I want to spend as little as possible on christmas so I can put it towards the wedding
Whilst my dad (bless him!) is helping out financially to the wedding (I'm his daddy's girl after all) then there are still things we need to save for and if we should have money left over then it can always go towards paying off the loans and CCs
(all mine are on 0% for the next 12 months heehee!)
So next years christmas is all down to PB and surveysI have 11 months to do it in! (Oh and I want to get as many of this years Birthday presents from the vouchers etc as I can too
Thank godness I got a good haul at Boots with my PB vouchers in the jan sales
)
