Hi
My brother mentioned John Shuttleworth's 500 Bus Stops DVD and I got right on it and found it cheap on the Internet, so that is a pressie for my brother sorted.0 -
Signature updated.
Plan for April: Finish the 2 presents I have started (need a few choccy bars for one, and a washbag-type thing for another) then think about what I can do for the rest... Only 24  Having crises as to what to give now though as I have started making pamper hampers to sell, so can't really give them as presents0 -
Sig updated, still on track:D
I have started "cashing in" some of my loyalty poitns with myself, that is to say I am spending some of them on stuff I woudl usually buy in those shops anyway & repaying the cash out of my usual budget into the Christmas so you might see the 1 & 2p savings jump up a lot everynow & then as that's where I'm putting the cash. This wasy I am not wasting any money as I am only strictly buying what I would usually buy at the best price (e.g I always buy nappies in Boots so spending my boots points on these & repaying myself the same amount cash from grocery budget to Xmas budget) but am giving myself the flexabilty of cash for Christmas spending. Hope that makes sense?.
Happy Christmas saving everyone:TPost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Just updated mine
All birthdays now done, Easter out of the way, Mother's Day done, and Father's Day bought for. Financially, we've just got about £70 (4 kids presents) to do for Christmas and that's it.
A few weeks of crafty stuff with the kids in November, some baking for hampers the week before Christmas, and that's this year all wrapped up - with money still in the kitty.
So nice to know we can enjoy the fun stuff this year without worrying about getting around the shops in December or how to pay the bills in JanuaryDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
