They do check its currently in stock though!

I just applied for a refund on two items that were ordered 34 days ago, and promptly got my refund.

Also note, I've claimed for an item on another order after a few days, then claimed again a few weeks later when it went down further, and the refunded the extra too :T

This is brilliant I have just checked mine and most of the items I have ordered recently have gone up except one book which I received last week which has gone down by £2.39, I emailed Amazon and within 10 minutes I had received an email back saying that they will be refunding £2.39 to me.

Thanks to OP for this info. I've applied for a £5 refund and within 10 minutes had a reply from Amazon stating that £5 had been credited back to my account.

I bought The Queen DVD on 9th march for mothers day, paid £12.99. It's £9.98 now so have asked for a £3.01 refund.
