If they lower the price on something that youve purchased within the past 30 days, theyll issue a credit (although you have to ask for it).

You know it appears to be better than that even, the 30 days seems to be applied a little differently:
We are only able to adjust the price of an order in instances where
less than thirty days have passed between the date on which an order
was dispatched and the time that an item is reduced in price on our
    site

They do check its currently in stock though!

I just applied for a refund on two items that were ordered 34 days ago, and promptly got my refund.

Also note, I've claimed for an item on another order after a few days, then claimed again a few weeks later when it went down further, and the refunded the extra too :T
  • This is brilliant I have just checked mine and most of the items I have ordered recently have gone up except one book which I received last week which has gone down by £2.39, I emailed Amazon and within 10 minutes I had received an email back saying that they will be refunding £2.39 to me.

Thanks to OP for this info. I've applied for a £5 refund and within 10 minutes had a reply from Amazon stating that £5 had been credited back to my account.

I bought The Queen DVD on 9th march for mothers day, paid £12.99. It's £9.98 now so have asked for a £3.01 refund.
