Two of my items are now more expensive than when I bought them. Mysterious cities of gold box set - paid £39.98, now £54.98!!! What a huge increase!!

Hellboy II Golden Army 2 disc DVD paid £9.98 now £12.98

Hellboy is still £3.98 and the Final Destination 'Thrill-ogy' is still £8.98.

yep definitely done, got knocked back for a refund on Guitar Hero for the Wii which is £12 cheaper than when I bought it! Got this reponse:

Unfortunately, we cannot extend a refund to you for the difference between the original price and the lower price you saw posted on our website.

While we don't always beat the best available price on every product, we do offer deep discounts on many thousands of items. From time to time, prices on some items will change due to special offers from suppliers and manufacturers or our inventory and sales volumes. When we can offer a lower price for new purchases we will, but we cannot extend these discounts to completed orders.

Please note that only orders placed on or before September 1, 2008 were eligible for a price difference refund under the Post-Order Price Guarantee policy. However, we do continue to offer our Pre-order price guarantee.

I`m getting really tired of amazon constantly changing their prices. A Sony MP3 player i was going to buy today has gone up by £16!!! I notices their prices always seem to fluctuate greatly :mad:

i bought a samsung 500gb limited edition michael jackson this is it hard drive for 43.58. 2 days following my purchase the price dropped to 38.99! so i emailed them for a refund. they emailed me back saying they did not have a price drop policy and they cannot offer a refund. i emailed them back praising their customer services emphasizing how often i used them. i also mentioned that if someone wanted to , he could return the item and could buy the same item from amazon at the cheaper rate! i did get a refund but they made it clear that it was a one off and they normally do not offer a price drop policy.
