I usually buy from Amazon Marketplace as it's cheaper - so not entitled to any refund !!

Many thanks to the OP for drawing my attention to this - I had bought a few books and DVDs from amazon last month and on checking, the prices have gone down by a total of almost £8. I placed the order 33 days ago, so technically they could have refused my request but I thought I'd try anyway .... I had an email back from customer services within an hour of having contacted them, confirming that the money is being credited back into my account.

Absolutely excellent customer service from amazon. I'm very impressed.

Thanks OP, I have just submitted a refund claim to amazon, I purchased an xbox cooler for my brothers birthday a couple of weeks ago, and it has reduced in price from £22.99 to just £9.99!!

Hope they refund me because that is a big difference.

For some reason - I think the forum is playing up I can't get past page 1 of this thread,

Anyway could someone tell me if they know, , if I place an order and the item is not yet dispatched for a while and the price then goes up or down do I pay the original price or can I pay the lower price?

Bought tomtom at 125 - and then it fell to 110.....got a GBP15 refund.....thanks for great info and 0800 number.

BTW - I couldnt locate this policy on the website - but they honored the claim over phone.
