He will not be liable for CSA until she makes a claim. Then he become laible for any money due between the date of her claim and the date they contact him; he is not laible for arrears prior to her contact with the CSA.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
he wishes she would make a claim through CSA, then at least he could get a dna test!0

Is she giving a reason as to why she wont do one?
It is a simple swab test nothing invasive to worry about unless she is worried he ISN`T the father!
I would try and talk with her to get one and if she still wont then do one yourself! As it stands he is `currently` the father SO he can take the child to his own GP if nessesary and enquire about it/get it done.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

He could, if he wanted to, contact the CSA himself and say he wants to pay. I imagine once the operator picks him/herself up off the floor they will be happy to help him.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

I dont think it works like that. You need proof that the test is wrong, ie a court approved DNA test. You can get these privately, but you need a sample from the mother.Mrs_Arcanum wrote: »He could see if he can get his name taken off the birth certificate as he has no proof he is the father.0 -
