Welcome SBO, and now everyone will be looking at little old ladies with different eyes;);):rotfl:
Your right I do need an escape and my history class is it. I am hoping our tutor will have more news from the Uni about our diploma course.
Just put some whoopsied M&S fish on from the freezer and will have that for lunch with some new potato's ,carrots and green beans. Then a quick whip around to DDs house to let the dogs out for a leak then off to class by 2.00.p.m. Our tutor is brilliant she has a large pot of coffee on for when we get there and a scrummy box of chocolate biscuits (my Friday secret sin ;)) Bless her she is smashing.
Onwards and upwards chums I shall be ringing my brother Davy tonight to see how he is.I am hoping to go down to see him in September if I can can fly to Poitiers and then get picked up from there, or get the train, and change at Lille. I will see what I can sort out between now and then as my sis-in-law will want to come as well.Right off to have lunch be good everyone, or if you can't don't get caught;)
    Cheers JackieO xx

My new chair has arrived :j:j still don't know where it's going to end up but I've sat in it a lot this morning.

The poor JLewis men were let into the building by my downstairs neighbour and then she let them into her place :rotfl: when they realised the mistake she asked them if they had brought her new shower! :rotfl::rotfl: They weren't too chuffed but it's just typical of her (she's over 80 I think).

I have decided to close my work laptop down for today, have more than done my hours this week and am away for most of next week - Leeds, Derby, Cambridge all for meetings - so don't feel guilty. I can feel a session of Jeremy Kyle coming on :o:o

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Welcome SBO!
NPM - not liking the sound of that, I have to go to the dentist on Monday as my crown broke and came out! This is a new dentist for me as the last one did root treatment and I still had toothache. She then said 'we appear to have done the wrong tooth'. No faith now so a new one it is!

Just put out loads of washing and you can't see out of the windows for rain now, typical. Take care. XX

Just sticking my head round the door to send posi-vibes to Jackieg's BIL and Bramble's granddad, and anyone else who needs them.

Off to the kitchen now to cut and blanch carrots for freezing - first time I've done this, wish me luck!
