User emailed me back saying I have no chance won't be selling to me at that price.. Please advise what I can do?

Just let it go, dont file against him, its not worth it and you will just cause upset

It says he would end the auction early for offers over £750, did you agree to pay more than you bid, I can't see any other reason for them to end the auction with you as the highest bidder.

As far as I am concerned, I won the auction fair and square. To be honest, he could have put a reserve on it if he wanted it to go over £750 before selling..

I will have to see what Ebay says as the auction was open to all offers and I won on my offer of 1p. Incidently, I did put a max bid of £100...

Any ideas why they ended the auction early with you as the highest bidder, I just wondered why they didn't cancel your bid and end the auction - perhaps it was to close to the end of the auction.

No idea at all... but I believe he could have cancelled the auction.
