It says he would end the auction early for offers over £750, did you agree to pay more than you bid, I can't see any other reason for them to end the auction with you as the highest bidder.
  • As far as I am concerned, I won the auction fair and square. To be honest, he could have put a reserve on it if he wanted it to go over £750 before selling..

I will have to see what Ebay says as the auction was open to all offers and I won on my offer of 1p. Incidently, I did put a max bid of £100...

Any ideas why they ended the auction early with you as the highest bidder, I just wondered why they didn't cancel your bid and end the auction - perhaps it was to close to the end of the auction.

No idea at all... but I believe he could have cancelled the auction.

Why are you so upset about this.. I am not.. I am not try to trick him or skank him. I just put a bid on an auction fair and square.. what have I done wrong? The seller should have been more careful when he made his listing..

    I got a 60Gb PS3 already.... well I don't mind paying 1p for a spare..

I am not upset at all, slightly amused!!

Just put your self in his shoes.

Yes, he should have been more careful in his listing, but are you really going to punish him to the tune of £749.99!!
