I don't know about seeing into the future, but I do know that if you take a derelict stable and convert it into a 1 bed apartment that it'll add value to your property. Even if the value is just to the amount of what was spent to carry out the conversion.
As an aside, has no one noticed that for the last page or so, only you guys have been talking about my mortgage? :rotfl:0 -

When you come to sell your house do not sell it to somebody who works in the building game because you will not get anywhere near what you want for it.
As an aside you need to look at the reasons people are talking about your mortgage.0 -

When you create your next "character" do it a bit less transparently because your current crop are easily identified by those in the internet game.
As an aside have a look at the reasons which mean you have to spend large chunks of your life making stuff up.0 -

Why is this?
You have assumed incorrectly.0 -
You have assumed incorrectly.
I think it's a fairly safe assumption that 'most' (he didn't say all) labourers would not be able to afford a 450k houseChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

It depends who the labourers are labouring on and what they did with the money they earned during the boom.0 -

Interesting he avoided my question about why someone 'working in the building game would not pay anywhere near what I asked for it'.
I assume it's because Jimmy's handler doesn't work in the 'building game' and really doesn't want to get into this with me. We might start talking about the applicability of hydraulic lime levels and whether one should dub out a stone wall with a mixture of hemp lime and prompt natural cement to maintain breathability in old buildings and his google skills might not be upto it. :rotfl:0 -
