hiya everyone. well things do seem to feel easier at the mo`. but i still am missing him like crazy (i can`t believe its two weeks today was his funeral). i find when i am choosing what to wear i am thinking he would like me to wear this etc...crazy eh.
all the children have appeared to be settling down quite quickly. it has surprised me how they seem to have accepted his death a lot easier than me.
i a making sure that i have something each week to look forward to like going to the pictures etc.
went to see dreamgirls with my eldest dd....so enjoyed it. real chick flick.
thanks for all the support and hugs.
    big ((((hugs)))) to all.
    love

Thanks for the hug Twinks, I need it today!

Hi Molly, I'm sorry you feel down, it's very understandable. I have found that some of my children have been more devastated than others. We all seem to react differently. The 21, 20 and 11 year old have been very accepting, they seem to worry about me rather than the loss of their Dad. Although they do have their moments, but they talk about him often with humour tinged with sadness. The 20 and 16 year old are totally devastated with the unfairness of it all, why it has happened to their Dad and how it all is too soon for someone to die. The hate the fact that it was Christmas and that they have vowed never to celebrate Christmas again. I know how they feel, as I feel like that too, and to make matters worse, my own Dad died just 2 days after my own birthday last year, so I feel I can't celebrate anything!
Children are very resiliant and tend to adapt to their surroundings better than adults.
Be kind to yourself and talk about him often.........I find this helps.
    Many hugs

Hi Stormy, Mandymoo, Twink, Molly and everyone else hope you are all well.

I seem to have been a busy bee but looking round here you wouldn't think so! mmmmm had an appt this morning after the school run, called in at my sister's for a chat and a coffee. Picked William up, lunch and ebay parcel wrapping, post office run and then school run for Alice. Morrisons with them both plus Nanan (pointless taking 2 cars), Dinner, bed for A & W, nice long chat with a friend and that's it!!! Perhaps that is why it looks the same as it did this morning :rotfl: ah well it'll still be here tomorrow :p

Extra special hugs to Stormy and molly today hope you are both well.

mandymoo, didn't need to bribe the judge on Saturday, we were the only team to enter for that particular comp!!!!!!!! Besides wobbly frame is too good to waste like that :D and we did need it to 'celebrate' our success.

Better make a list of jobs for tomorrow, take care everyone.

    HUGSSSSSSSS
