Morning everyone,
Hope you are all well and warm, not much doing today just the normal tidy round for the weekend !! when I finish work next week I am going to have to look at the flylady !!!
I have just filled in an application form, first one I have ever done, trying to get over on paper what sort of person you are is very hard, have to wait three weeks now to see how I get on. The job is with Mencap and helping people with learning disabilities life a full life on their own in their own home, sounds a really rewarding job and I know I would more than likely get more out of it than them.
AnW`sMum, Hope you enjoyed the bell ringing and the `home brew` was good
Love and hugs to all

Hello everyone, I haven't been around for a couple of days, hope the kids are enjoying the snow - we've had hardly any here.
Stormy (((hugs)))... I wonder if this was in part a reaction to a tough day at work? I am sure it's quite normal though, I just hope today is better. I guess you will have these times but they will get further apart. Have another (((hug))) from me.
AnW'sMum - bellringing sounds fun! All the right ingredients too, IYSWIM. Company, physical exercise, having to concentrate, tangible results... My sister used to do it but I've never dared with my rubbish sense of rhythm!
Mandymoo, all the best for the job! That's exactly the field I used to be in (pre-kids) and it was fantastic. I wouldn't go back now because I think I've been with kids too long and that would affect how I treated clients, but then I have had a great deal to do with children for the last fifteen years! Anyway I hope you get itMiggy

Afternoon everyone, I haven't been round in a while either but I've been keeping up with the posts. as always I find this thread an the people on it an absolute inspiration and it makes our issues seem so small in comparison. It really helps me to keep my feet on the ground andnot wallow in my own self pity when I think how strong and dignified you all have been through everything you have and are still experiencing. Lots of love and hugs to you all, a very humbled

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying the snow. DD and DS think it's great although not sure we will venture out with the car to swimming lessons!
I'd stay away from us as well, I may have caught this horrible bug that seems to be sweeping the country. My Dad was off work with it this week (he is NEVER off work) and I have a sore throat tonight. Would be typical just as the kids break up for half term. We shall be out building snowmen tomorrow come what may lol
Mandymoo, the 'Wobbly frame' has still not arrived so will just have to go next weekringing was good though.
Hope you all have a great weekend, keep warm and stay strong.

Hello everyone,
A strange week for me really, very up and down with emotions all over the place. To be honest, I couldn't wait for the weekend, but now it's here, I wish it was Monday and I could be off to work!
Such is my life at the moment, just waiting, I just know what I was waiting for! To see John again? For him to come home? For this awful feeling to pass. It's difficult to think that life goes on. It's seven weeks since John died and 8 weeks today that I took him to hospital because he wasn't feeling right! I can't imagine how I've managed to survive, but I have, and that in itself is an acheivement.
On that note, I want to say a huge thanks to ALL of you lovely people on here for keeping me sane (sometimes) and words and thoughts of support and encouragement.
Every day I'm now going to think of something postive, or something I've acheived, just to prove to myself really that I WILL move forward, with John in my heart and soul. I'm sure, out there somewhere, he's watching me and helping me forward with his love.
So, today, I'm going to see Midge Ure with friends, and I've decided I will meet them earlier and go and have something to eat with them. (I find it hard to eat with other people since John died for some strange reasin) So that's my challenge for today. I suppose before that happens, I need to get out of bed!
Hope everyone is all well, and not snowed in, the snow has all but melted here down near the sea in North Wales, it still looks lovely up on the mountains though and that will stay for a while yet.
Have a lovely weekend everyone, as best you can.....and to quote AnW'sMum, stay strong,
Huggs and kisses to all those who need them, and to all that dont!
