    Evening everyone,
My goodness isn't it cold.................................Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It took me ages to defrost my car this morning, and then I had a really difficult today, two difficult reviews with my staff. But, in the end all went well and felt quite proud of myself for being very focused and just concentrating on the job in hand and managing not to think about my home circumstances whilst I was appraising. Phew.
I did enjoy the quiz last night and a friend from work has bought me a ticket to go and see Midge Ure on Saturday night. It's a lovely gesture, but if I had known, I wouldn't have gone to the quiz last night as I don't like to leave Rosie twice in one week. Still, it wont be happening on a regular basis, so I'll go and enjoy myself.
The children are all ok and seem to be coping this week, but I still haven't contacted the coroner or the hospital, but it's on the top of my agenda for next week, so keep rooting for me guys.
I have a meeting tomorrow in mid Wales, with a severe weather forecast on the cards, you may find me on here tomorrow afternoon, snowed in......lol.
I hope everyone on here is ok, well done on all the printing anniestar, you must be using loads of ink and paper!
Well, I'm off to do the ironing now, so take care all and lots of love :)

Stormy, Midge Ure is GREAT live. You will have a great time.Well the printing is going well, nearly finished. To be honest if it helps even a bit then it will have been more than worth it. The most difficult bit was actully getting the INK!!!! Got really messed about and despite ordering some and paying a deposit when we went back(for the 2nd time) they still didn't have any(copy stuff) We ended up getting it from ebay 2 complete lots(8 lots of ink) for £12odd which is £18(at least)cheaper than we were going to pay for 1set!(sorry am being boring!) I hope my cousin has had a chance to come on here. Anyway you will all be fast asleep now(sorry!!) so sleep well everybody,PLEASE be careful tomorrow and stay warm. Night Night God Bless gang.

    Hi everyone

Sorry I have not been around much, had a lot running through my mind plus it's been busy round here with day to day stuff.

Sounds like you had a good night Stormy at the quiz :) and I hope you have a great time when you go to see Midge. I know what you mean about going out 'so' much but John would want you to be out and about. I bet the rest of the family feel the same as well, just think how you feel about them all getting on and doing their thing. Does it feel wrong? I bet the answer is no because I am certain you want them to carry on and try to bring a bit of happiness back into all your lives.

I hope that makes sense! My friend and neighbour has decided that I am going to go out each Thursday night bellringing as that is what I would have done Ian's shifts permitting in the past. Felt very wrong to start with but the break from here is good for all of us. So she babysits for me and I get the chance to be just me for a couple of hours. Just a thought could you organise Rosie's fave takeaway or rent a DVD/video she hasn't seen yet as a treat for her so she has a special night as well?

Annie, this must have taken an absolute age to print! I always look at ebay first then, quidco, etc etc! Whenever any of my family are looking to buy anything I always tell them to check ebay :rotfl:

Anyway I am off to bed and hoping for DD and DS's sakes that we have so in the morning, wellies at the ready :D

Keep safe everyone, hugs to you all

    Hi,

Yes it does feel wrong to go out, bit odd and guilty that I'm doing things that JOhn can't do.

I think I feel odd tonight, probably you're all in bed now, but that's ok, I just need to get this off my mind and write.......
I can't stop crying all of a sudden, I've been crying like a baby all night, the tears wont stop....God knows what I look like. It's awful......please tell me this is normal, I just can't stop, I can't even see, good job I can touch type, God knows what this will look like.

I've been ok for a while, so what the hell is going on? Cry, cry cry. it's never ending.......very emotional. I hate it, I keep saying out loud 'I love you John' and I have this overwhelming feeling of guilt, but I don't know why. I'm sorry to say tis, but I don't know how to put it. I sort of 'need' john tonight, in bed, if you see what I mean, God it's awful. I hope I don't offend anyone, hell, I feel guilty about that now, I'm going to press send quickly so it's done

Stormy it is still such early days for you, I am 6 months down the road but it certainly doesn't feel like it. The important thing to do is let the tears come, triyng to hold them back could end up being more destructive for you. I personally think the red eyed look is very fashionable ;) I have gone to fetch DD and DS from school before with puffy eyes and no one has said a word. It's all normal Stormy, it's a rollercoaster ride that we can't get off, don't feel guilty for any feeling that you have please.

:grouphug: to us all. Snow here this morning, well a dusting so I shall go and get the kids ready to play on the way to school.

Keep warm and stay safe everyone.

    xx

    Hi everyone,

Not been on here as have got this head cold thats going around, first cold for a few years though so can`t complain. Feel a bit better today.

Stormy you will never offend anyone on here you are amongst friends, It is good that you are talking about how you are feeling, I know the `guilt feeling` and I personally don`t think it is guilt as such, more that you feel so sorry that your loved one is missing out on so much, things that we have all taken for granted, because thats the way life is, and it is not until you loose someone that you start to put things into perspective. I hope that makes sense. I know when my dad was told he did`nt have long all he said was " I won`t see what becomes of the babies" (that is what he called my three) and at the time I could`nt understand what he meant, but 4 years on I very much understand what he meant.

AnWsMum it`s good that you have a hobby and as you say it is good for the children as well. You need to have your time as well and be you, so you will be off tonight then, enjoy and have fun.

Hope everyone has a safe and warm evening
    love and hugs mandymoo xxxx

Sorry to hear about the cold mandymoo, it seems to be hitting a lot of people this time round. So far so good the worst has been a tickly cough for DS.

The kids are disappointed that the snow has just about gone, but you never know there might be more for them tomorrow.

Pizza in the oven and a garlic ciabatta, be ready in 15 for those that can get here, just don't skid in the snow and ice ;) and then yes bellringing for me and hopefully a glass of 'wobbly frame'! We won a competition at Christmas and the prize is a case of beer brewed at a micro brewery by you guessed it some ringers!

    Catch you all later
