I am so sorry and wish I could help you in some way.
I lost my father in August and it will be difficult for my DDs this Christmas.
Just be as kind to yourself as you can. Don't worry about not being able to cry, sometimes grief just makes you freeze and feel numb."This site is addictive!"

Stormybay....
I am so sorry to hear of the sudden loss of your husband. I can't imagine how you must be feeling, especially as you are also having to deal with the first christmas since the passing of your father. I don't suppose any words can bring much comfort...but I will try....
As well as the festive fun and the true meaning of christmas, I always think christmas is a time to remember those who have passed. It's a time to reflect on the memories of the christmases spent with those special people who are no longer here physically. Stormybay, remember those special times spent with your husband and father. They would want you to remember those fond memories. They are not here physically, but will be with you spiritually. Light some candles for them.
Take each second as it comes. Do things your own way. Christmas won't be how you planned, but let it be a time that brings you and your children closer.
Your life has been turned upside down, but the time you spent with your husband and father can never be taken away. The memories will be with you and your children for the rest of your lives.
