    Hi everyone

Hope you are all well, we are just back from Florida this morning. Went to see Mickey and Gang, we had a great time but it was HOT!

Will post some pics later once we are over the jetlag and unpacking bit.

Hope you had a good break Stormy, sounds like you were well looked after!

Will check back later in the week, need to finish sorting emails/washing/unpacking etc etc etc wish me luck!

    Hugs to everyone :)

HI, and thanks Dusty, we are all just about surviving here, it seems. I can't believe, when I look back over the thread, how we all have though! Must be this community.
I'm fine, back to work with targets to me and objectives to set, hardly get time for anything else these days.
Children are all well, little one starts high school in september, another mile stone for her, and for me wishing John could see it!
    Take care all

    Hi everyone

Can't believe we have been back from hols almost a week already, time is just disappearing and to be totally honest I am not sure if that is a good thing or not. It was good to get back from hols and go and see Ian, I kept thinking how much he would have enjoyed taking the kids to see Mickey Mouse but know he was there with us.

I have only dragged the pics off the camera so far , they still need sorting properly and I need to get Alice's camera d/led plus the photopass pics taken at Disney, let's just say there are a LOT of pics!

Going to start thinking about a headstone now the hol is over and the ground seems more settled. Alice said we have to have a black stone as it won't show the dirt as easily!!

Hope everyone is well, hugs for you all.

    Welcome back,
Alice is absolutely right. I have to start thinking about a headstone too. But I just don't know where to start at all.
Welcome home AnW's Mum, I've missed you

It was very busy with all the children, but I'm glad I went all the same. Everyone was asking about John and we remembered a lot of funny and wonderful memories.
I'm just looking to go back now for a week with ny sis in law, just for a rest!

That is great news :) glad you had a good time. Our hol this year was much better, last year was too soon for me. It was only 7 weeks after Ian died but it wouldn't have been fair for the kids to miss out.

Sounds like a relaxing week with your SIL will be just the ticket.

I have posted a couple of pics of Alice and William on the flylady thread, let me get the link for you..... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=5996462&postcount=465 there are loads to sort through it will take ages!

Thanks Dusty from me as well, it's nice to know that others are keeping an eye on us all :)

Hope everyone else is well and enjoying the summer.

Blimey it's gone a bit quiet here! Hope that means everyone is well and enjoying the [STRIKE]lovely[/STRIKE] weather!

I can't believe it's almost September already  only one more week of the school hols and then Alice will be a junior and William will start in reception full time. A proud/sad day that will be wishing Ian was able to walk them both into their new classes with me.

Hiya AnW's Mum, yes, it is quiet isn't it. I know I've been just so busy after coming back off my holiday. I'm not used to having to sort out child minders for the school holidays, and occasionally I have to work from home to catch up.
I just don't seem to have time to come on the PC really. I have also decorated the hall stairs and landing and had a new carpet fitted after DS2 knocked a tin af varnish down the stairs.
Rosie doesn't go back to school until sept 5th and she needs a full school uniform as she's going to high school. I've been spending a lot of time with her in the evenings as I don't spend any time in the day as I work full time. She has also been a little 'funny' lately with me going to work, or if I go out anywhere without her. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, she just a little different. I have tired to talk to her about it, she just says she misses me when I'm not there. She's just been clingy, but I guess I can't blame her for that. She's also done a sponsored skip for the British Heart Foundation, bless her.
I have also booked a holiday for a week in September with my sis in law. Although I had a lovely holiday with all the children, I needed a little time for me. I don't really have me time at all, I am at work all day, I have Rosie and the boys after work and my other 2 daughters and my lovely grandson at the weekends.
So, I decided just to book a week away just for me. I actaully feel guilty about it, but I think I really need to chill out for a week before I explode with, well, with what, I don't really know, just feel I will.
It is so sad, isn't it, when there are new milestones for our children and they can't be shared with their Dad. It will be a very bitter sweet moment when Alice becomes and junior, William in reception and Rosie starts high school. I will try to be as proud as I can be, and hope that John is looking down on her somewhere, alo feeling proud.
Well everyone, lets hope we have a sunny weekend, it's already beginning to get very busy here on the coast................holiday makers everywhere.
Try to have a good weekend everyone...............
