Today I ordered my self a herb roller, my Dear Dad (Rip) used to
make mint sauce with one years ago, I remember standing in the kitchen
watching him and savouring the wonderfull smell of the mint:D
My Mum gave their old one away to my brother but I found one on t' net
so I will get a mint cutting from Mum and make my own:j0 -

My dad used to put the mint leaves without stalks on the chopping
board, sprinkle some sugar on them, roll over it with one of theese
till it was very fine chopped them scrape it up into a pot-add vinegar
and a bit more sugar and thats your mint sauce0 -
I've never heard of a herb roller either. They look pretty nifty and not expensive, I've just got visions of my fingers getting rolled along with the herbs:eek:0

What kitchen gadgets do you have that you could not live without???
I love my breadmaker, it is made by A-team and is easilly 10 years old, i inherited it from my mum. I am thinking about upgrading to a panasonic breadmaker tho.
I would love a kenwood Chef. My mum has an old one from I guess the mid 70's and she still uses it 2-3 times a week.

senseo coffee maker, coffee is lovely and most important, no messy coffee waste afterwards.
I would like one of those fryers that you only put a spoon of oil in, but I cant be doing with spending £125+ on it.0 -
Oooohh it has to be My remoskas... great big gas guzzling oven has only been on 3 times in about 10 months...
The remoska has to be the best thing I have ..and trust me I have lots of kitchen things-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Sanyo Microwave Oven (defrost, fish, veg, odd ready meal)
Cookworks Popcorn Maker (healthy, cheap and easy!)
Russell Hobbs Hand Whisk (great for smoothies/milk froth)
Have loads of other gadgets that hardly use Cappuccino maker / sandwich toaster / Blender etc.
