I like to do it gradually over the year. I have some large plastic boxes in the loft which are just for storing pressies. I wrap as I buy and I buy as I see something I know is right for that person. If that makes sense!

When December comes, I only have the Christmas cards to write. I am a teacher and December is hectic in school, so its good not have too much to do at home. There is also no extra financial pressure in December.

Ive allready purchased a few gifts today ready for Xmas next year.
I always buy cards (for the kids to use) (but make my own) and paper in the sales too. Did this last year, and still got plenty left over.
I made one hamper for OH's mum for her birthday, she was really impressed and thought I'd brought it, so might attempt in doing some more.
Generally, be more creative and save more ready for Xmas 2007 & buy gifts/vouchers throughout the yr.

I used ny Nectar points at Sainsbury's just before Christmas this year and got a tree with built in lights (not fibre optic) - it should have been £45 - reduced to £30 and cost me nothing - as in actual money.

Put Greens and Black min choc bars in stocking that i got as a freebie and also two perfume samples (Ghost) that I got as a freebie.

Have found a fantastic site for silver designer jewellery that i will be using again and got a free dvd from the offer by play.com earlier in the year.

Would like to do even better this year then Dds can have more that they actually want and need - rather than just "stuff!"
    "This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA
    Preemie hats - 2.

Woolies - I bought the interactive Raven game for DS reduced from £13.97 with a £10 off !!! - top bargain - I was delighted with this so I bought another one for my birthday present cupboard.
