You know, try as I might I could NOT find any bargains today. Went out looking specifically for presents for birthdays and Christmas next year. Went to Matalan, Instore, Wyevale Garden centre, Sainsburys and not one bargain to be found! Think I'm trying too hard :)

I've found some Christmas cards from last year, and and been cutting them up for the crèche at work to use next year. I'll probably start on this years ones on boxing day. :o

I've only done the online sales so far (Next and Empire) - but already bagged three toys bargains and several bits and pieces for hampers :D

And I have excess stocking fillers from this year for the boys, so that's covered too.

Hubby moans there's always stuff in the bottom of the wardrobe, but he'd moan even more if he had to go shopping this week or pay full price.

  • Hubby thinks I'm extremely sad lol.......I'm actually really looking forward to boxing day and nipping out on my own for a couple of hours to the sales for pressies for christmas 2007, glad to know I'm not the only one looking that far ahead :)
  • This year I have no storage as our toy room/utility room and garage were demolished to make way for the new extension (see sig)

but I know that Wilkinsons reduced some of their toys today and that shortly all the Christmas stock gets reduced and then is priced at 10p each ! I hope I can time my shopping right to get some bargains.

I really want a 7ft artificial tree - one in Focus was £100 but I am not prepared to pay that - far too expensive so am awaiting the sales

Some people have managed to get all their xmas gifts without spending a penny...by using vouchers they have won off pigsback, by selling things on ebay (and using that money if you know what i mean), by spending their quidco money etc.....so technically yes spending money, but getting it from other sources than directly from your wages...

I am going to try and do this next year to the best of my ability, I will be definatly be clicking on pigsback every day and earning points.... which can turn into vouchers, sell stuff i dont need on ebay and try and put £10 a week (vouchers or money) into a christmas tin and spend it next xmas instead of out of my wages.......

If anyone fancies it, please join me!!!! It would be good to have some company!
