Well, I've spent the afternoon sorting and allocating the boxes of stuff I mentioned in my earlier post.

There was more than I thought - some of which elicited 'why did I buy that' thoughts, so I also now have an ebay 'to list' box which should add some more to the pot :)

Updated my sig - was quite surprised how it all added up. It doesn't include my online sale bargains though as they've not arrived yet.

  • Count me in! I will save £15 per week and will keep my boots points for crimbo next year (already have £12). I saved lots of money this year and would love to save more next year :D

  • ooh i'm in, i don't have a lot of spare cash (on benefits) so i'm going to start saving all my spare change and some of other peoples ie my family lol, i'm also going to use pigsback daily (and if i can find some others them as well). Will also start buying shampoo etc from boots to get the points.

I'm also going to start writing down everything that i spend money on and every time i draw some cash from the atm (i don't know where it goes)

I think I'll join in too. I have a pigsback account so I'll keep the points saved up. Is there a time-limit on the points does anyone know?

I have a boots voucher in my purse but I intend to use that to buy cards & crackers in the sales (going shopping in about half an hour). DS got loads of JJB vouchers for Christmas so we are off to but new football boots for him.

This year I wasn't very organised so I didn't enjoy the run-up to Christmas. I am so determined to be better organised this year!

I also collect £2 coins and odd bits of change in my piggy bank. I'll keep these for Christmas.

I'm glad to be taking control!

Hiya! yes there is a 12month limit on pigsback point, then you start to lose them. It has been suggested on the pigsback thread that you order vouchers in £10's or £5's....instead of £80 in one go....as there are often mistakes and missing vouchers when you get them all in one go. There is no limit on vouchers though so if you get them in £10's throughout the year you can save them yourself for xmas!!!!

    WELCOME!!

  • Well I am in! I have done a spreadsheet which includes Christmas, Birthdays and Fathers/Mothers Day. I already have all the fathers day/Mothers Day pressies, nearly all the Birthdays we buy for (we dont do all the kids in the family, just send cards etc) and then xmas. Got toys etc in boots online sale, plus some bits on ebay, play hmv etc. Am off to a good start!

  • I've noticed lots of lovely 'food' christmas gifts half price in M&S... They all have BB dates of Feb 2007, which I really don't believe that choc & alcohol would have SUCH a short date... what do you guys think?
