  • Just thought I would let everyone know about the bargains I picked up. At my local tescos, I found a bathroom pampering set for £2.50 reduced from £10. So, I bought 5 of them, saving 37.50. I also found bath fizz bomb things in Superdrug, pack of 6 for £1, with nice packaging too. I have most of my birthday presents and some christmas ones for 2007. I wont get my son's until nearer the time.
  • I've managed to get quite a few gifts for next year in the sales........ 3 leather cd wallets for £5 reduced from £10 from Next; 2 silky dressing gowns reduced from £30 to £9.00 at MS outlet for sister and sister-in-law; espresso coffee maker reduced to £8 from £15 at Designer Village outlet for brother (will buy coffee for it Dec 07); 3 sets of candle sticks reduced to £1 from £10.99 and half price candles from Woolies and Oxfam - will repackage them and put them into half price gift boxes from Wilkos; baby gym for sister's new baby half price from Bargain Crazy ........... and of course, Christmas cards which were reduced from £5 a box to 50p a box.... It probably sounds a bit sad but the above has saved me well over £125.

I'd love to join this thread. I've bought xmas cards for next year £3 per box reduced to 75p at sainsburys. placed an order in M&S sale which should give me £20 in pigsback vouchers which I'll put towards xmas. Already have 970 pigsback points so hope to have another £10 voucher by next week ready to put away.

I've taken advantage of botanics boots loophole and intend to return 4 of them when sale goods go to 75% off and get £16 worth of stuff to put in my xmas box.

Went to Next outlet at Mcarthur Glenn and all jewellery was £1 so got 4 sterling silver necklaces for £4. That's my nieces sorted!

Went to focus and all xmas toys 50% off so got little niece a rocking horse for £10 to put away for next year.

Love this site really keeps you focused.

I've also used empire direct to order a reduced hairdryer for dd for her b'day(used money off code as well) so £40 hairdryer cost £7 and ordered straighteners from argos £49.99 now £16.99 so for £25 she has £90 present. Also got her a pair of Ted Baker jeans for £10 RRP £50 from Mcarthur glenn, just need to add a few girlie bits (waiting for claires accessories to do 10 reduced items for £5) and her birthday in April is sorted.

Sorry for the long post I'm a bit enthusiastic

soooo glad I am not the only one who has started the christmas shopping, Boots at the moment is fab, and I got some excellent mens toiletries from Debenhams reduced from £10 - £3 and £15 -£4.50 and then a further 10% off. Highly recommend having a look in Debenhams.

Has anyone come across a bargain trike?, DD is 2 in Feb and that is what we are buying her but was looking for a good deal.
