BT broadband bill £202

I'm sure they probably did. I checked my BT online account and I had switched over the contact details to my normal e-mail address though. Due to this and the fact I get paper bills anyway, I just assumed these would be the methods they would use to contact me.
Anyway, as far as they're concerned, they let me know I was going over my limit and I didn't do anything about it - the cynic in me would say they send it to those addresses as they know people don't check them and can make substantial money out of the charges! Ah well, I'll just have to suck it up, pay the charge and put it down to experience.0 -

i would also agree with that.....Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -
Wow I spend most of my days playing Battlefield Games, connected to dedicated EA servers, while streaming music over the web and a iPhone connected all day and I still have not ran up usage like the OP. BT are justified to bill you. Seriously your usage is shocking, P2P? Streaming HD Video? Watching Pornos? Obviously not just gaming here and there while checking emails. I am sure your not stupid and can estimate that 10 GB of data isn't even going to last you a week, so why be a tight-a$$ and purchase a product that won't meet the demands?
And the whole BS about BT never given you credit, well the fact that all mobile phone contracts are reported monthly to credit agencies blows your theory out of the water. As far as I know BT do report defaulted accounts to credit agencies. The only company I know of that don't bother is BSkyB though they do have the power too.0
