  • I've still got about 3 tins of curry sauce in the cupboard coz thought it must be okay but agree - It WASN'T!!! lol

Even if I try and spice it up with some extras and a bit of curry paste etc its still pretty HORRID and I'm not a 'sultana in curry sauce' kinda fan and I'm sure its got sultana's or apple or something in it that I don't like in a proper curry ;-))

I haven't tried the stuffing but am used to Paxo too so have a feeling that maybe I won't like it TBH!!!

GOOD WORK btw Jumblejack!! How to make meals go far - very good economista!!

  • The stuffing is surprisingly nice. I normally use Paxo too. I finely chopped half an onion and mixed it in with the stuffing mix. Put it into a greased dish and plopped a couple of knobs of butter on the top. Voila. Nobody noticed any difference.

We like the Tesco Value Crisps.
12pk of Ready Salted for 68p or 12pk variety (Salt & Vinegar, Cheese & Onion, Ready Salted) for 71p. The bags are only 18g each but perfect for our picnic lunches plus I don't feel guilty if I have more than one packet.

We also like the Value Jaffa cakes 24pk, currently quite expensive but still the cheapest by far at 85p.
