  • I buy the value coleslaw all the time - tastes fine!

The value bleach is fine too , not thick bleach obviously , but does the job and is a good size

Same with the pan cleaners , always buy them as well as the value salt and mixed herbs , have bought the value pepper but prefer freshly ground pepper now so all I need is value peppercorns ;)

Haven't tried the value vinegar yet , but sure it will be fine on the not so cheap value chips now!

( Am fussy with teabags and happy with my 700 Yorkshire teabags still going strong from a previous offer )

    I love Yorkshire tea! :D
  • the value instant mash was ok (so the kids said)

Have ordered the value vinegar to use in the laundry as someone posted it was a good softener. I'd thought it had to be white vinegar for this, is malt ok? Also ordered the baby bath and shampoo as my oldest "baby" still uses baby stuff, he's 11!

I just refilled my teen/tween's lynx bottle with the 5p baby bath, will await comments later. Since they used 1/3rd of a bottle each shower will save me a bit.

Just doing an online shop and thought id browse this thread 1st..

Thought Tesco Value Coffee Granules 100G @ £0.47 is pretty good..? Not a coffee drinker though so wouldn't know if its a proper bargain.

Also marmalade is the same price as the strawb jam.

    Value Brown Sauce 540G @ 30p
Value Tomato Soup tin @ 17p have been added to my basket too.

Do you find that most of the deliveries turn up with OOS on a lot of things?

If so might pop to local Mr Ts with the kiddles

Baby shampoo, lotion and bubble bath are all with 5p or 8p today. FILL UP IF YER CAN. It is bound to shoot up soon. Will update first post when I can get to a comp.

By the way, paxo is worth the extra 5p. Checked ingredients value=5% onion, paxo=15% and paxo had a higher percentage of sage too!!!! Sad, I know. I do check these things!

Hopefully will get baby shampoo with delivery this p.m. but bubbles out of stock.
Not tried the value stuffing but we do regularly buy the normal Tesco one and not the Paxo.
Shop-to-drop - wait for the howls when son finds out - or perhaps he won't!
Know what you mean - mine would go through a bottle that quick too - amazing! Now he buy's his own he doesn't seem to mind the cheaper stuff!

I used the Baby Bath in the shower this morning. It was really nice. I also used the Baby Shampoo but not that impressed, nothing wrong with it but it didn't make my hair feel squeaky clean! I will use the Baby Shampoo to refill the soap dispensers so nothing is wasted. Thanks to whoever suggested doing that.
