20p dearer than tesco quality t bags that are 7p a box. MUST have a barcode that ends 411 though

    Good for making chocolate crispies!

I used to do this with the Tesco value choc (no longer sold :() and the Tesco value syrup, mmmmm!!!!

Will have to add the syrup on to the 1st post along with all the other good additions above when I get on the computer (just catching up on phone at the mo!)

Tesco value stuffing used to be only pence too.

Will have to check up and add.

Bought loads a while back when I had a liking for stuffing balls, mmmmm.

I cook a chicken, make up the stuffing.
Roll half of it into balls and coat in dripping to finish off in the oven to have with the roast chicken.
The other half is used up on sandwiches with leftover roast chicken the second day.
Third day, I boil the carcass to make a stock.
Strip any remaining meat and add with whatever veg is at hand to make a soup with the stock.

I bought the stuffing and none of my family liked it. We are used to Paxo and it tasted different.

I think the worst Value item I've bought so far is the curry sauce. It was like a tin of coloured water with flakes of onion. Never again!

We must have less discerning taste buds! Guests have never complained though... It's not the brand of yer stuffing but what you do with it that counts!

Regarding curry sauce, that's a whole different ball game. We do our own curries from scratch and they are legendary. I suppose if you like curry sauce from the chippy, it'd be similar to that?

No, it wasn't even like chip shop curry sauce. It was absolutely disgusting!
