I think the value long grain rice is good value @ 48p for a kilo

What I reckon we should do is when they put the price up of a value item refuse to buy it till it comes back down again and perhaps they'll get the hint..

I would have loved the yorkshire puds for 19p ... Saw them the other day for 59p and wasn't impressed!

I've got things dropping out of my basket like flies and ''no longer available'' as can't do my next online shop for a week!

There'll be **** all left by then I reckon!! lol

Stock up whilst they are reduced then you can pick your time to purchase em when the prices are more reasonable.:T

Spooky! Just jumped to end of thread to post that the batter mix is a fab buy. Cheaper than making your own and makes excellent yorkies and pancakes.

If you can't find the cheap tinned toms, a good cheap alternative for spag bol/pasta sauces is the cartons of passata. 29p each, the version with basil added is 69p, they substituted and price-matched with this on my last delivery but TBH it had a bit of a bitter taste, prefer to add my own fresh basil.

Actually, that's another tip - for online ordering, sometimes a value item can't be supplied so it's subbed and price-matched for a more expensive alternative
