Kidney beans mushy?
Maybe you are over-cooking them.
Instructions on pack say 3 mins in microwave.
I am just converting some leftover mince from spag bol into chile con carne for tonight's dinner and I have to report the kidney beans came out of the can plump & firm

By the way, noticed yesterday that the soft drinks aisle were all buy 2 get 1 free but the sign was not under the value drinks. Perhaps someone may know better?????
