Tesco value products (temporarily on silly prices!)

Lovin this thread!!

Here's my offering, though didn't have much time to mooch :

Instant custard 6p
Value mousse/whip : 12p (( though only saw strawberry flavour)
( angel delight type)
Pck of 4 Iced Finger Buns : 40p

Picked up some nappy sacks (100 pack) .These scanned at 25p, not 4p
ho hum, still cheaper than proper 'poop' bags!

Also noticed, though not really for this thread, a lot of Johnsons baby toiletries are on 1/2 price. The ones i noticed were the 300ml Baby lotion/ Shampoo/ baby bath.

tescos value pasta sauce has shot up from 17p each to 39p thats a discusting increase :mad:

Blimey!! That's why we need a value thread so that when they drop really low, off to Tescos we go!

Just like nappy sacks. One day 4p, next day 24p,:eek:

We need to be quick and stock up high when the prices are low.

How they justify these price changes I will never know!

Vinegar 568ml is 13p
nappy bags x300 is 27p (better value than the x100 ones now the pice has gone up)
All purpose cleaner 750ml 25p
Maths set 58p

went into lewes store, no value baby anything booo. but i did help a new dad get the right nappys. he was muttering to himself, and just grab a pack of nappys size 4:eek:. i asked if he needed a hand he said his mrs had just a baby 3 days ago and needed some nappies. i suggested that size 4 might be a little bit too big, as they are for babys that are walking, and i dont think a 3 day old baby can do that :rotfl:. i gave him the right nappies and suggested he look at the weight on the packs. or the pictures show a baby crawling,walking etc.
