The post office are disgusting. Our situation approved last week for card good limit, card received, pin received ind Internet banking info received.

Today I received a letter saying they have blocked the account due to money laundering issues and want all this documentation that is ridiculus. Well seeing as my husband and I both work for a large credit card company and I know about money laundering guidelines, data protection etc. I know that we are fine with our address history. We have a number of cards and have never had to produce anything like this.

I can only assume that due to the number of responses due to the £50.00 cashback they are now asking everyone for this ridiculus information. The card is now being cancelled and they will be told the reasons why.

Just out of curiousity, how long have you been at your current address? I'm wondering if they are doing this to everyone, or just people who have lived less than X number of years at an address.

Been at the current address for 11 years. Something has definately got the wind up them or they just don't want to pay out. Believe me I know the ins and outs of this process and something is not right here!

I submitted claim with Quidco today as finally got the card in post. Really hope it works ok, I'm a bit wary as don't think Quidco ever hasn't tracked for me...

Same here, received card, pin, online codes etc and today I get the money laundering letter with the ridiculous requests for documents. Don't think I can be bothered to waste my time on this anymore with these jokers.

Been at current address 15 months.

Hope the majority are having better luck!

No problems with the applications, but nothing about this outfit impresses so far (especially after reading the above). I've NEVER received credit cards and the PINs in the same post on the same day before - that's wide open to fraud and just bad practice.

Cards will be put safely away and probably never used (I wouldn't trust this lot not to mess it up, and anyway, who wants to use a credit card with 'Post Office' all over it :D) - the cashback doesn't seem to be dependent on usage.
  • There are some other cashback deals for credit card applications at the moment on Quidco -

American Express Platinum Card - £40 Cashback
Vanquis Visa Card - £25 Cashback
MBNA American Express Cashback Card - £20 Cashback
MBNA Visa Cashback Card - £15 Cashback
    :dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

    June: £43.15/July: £51.22/August: £90.60/September: £29.75/October: £284.07/November: £171.08/December: £29.22
  • I've just put a claim in to TCB. I also received the we'll let you know, instead of instant approval on line and received the pin and then the credit card (limit £2400) and then the id number all within a few days. Certainly no longer than if I'd had the online YES. The TCB has tracked but at £0. Something stinks. I think they hope that all those that didn't receive an instant online "Yes" won't bother to put in claims for the £50.

I genuinely wanted this card - got an instant yes but it hasnt tracked yet.

I also requested a fairly large balance transfer... has anyone who got an instant yes had it tracked and not had to send off lots of ML documents?

    Thanks

Anyone know how long it can take Quidco to approve your cashback once you've made a claim that something didn't track?
