It says purchase protection is free and although automatically renewable monthly, I presume on statement day, there is no mention of a charge associated with it. The application process said it was free.

It was lost and stolen cards protection we had to opt out of in the same part of the application.

The leaflet that comes with the card gives an address you can write to if you want to cancel the protection... however, my husband rang them up last night and they told him it was free 'indefinitely'.

If that's true, it's pretty good (although there is a £25 excess per claim) - I had assumed, like everyone else, that it would be free for the first month and then a sneaky charge would appear.

Thanks very much for sharing that, saved us a phonecall! It does sound like they might at some point decide to charge for it, so I guess we'll keep an eye on those statements.

I used Quidco and it hasn't tracked. PIN and card arrived within a couple of days. I can't even raise a query at work because it's asking for the last 4 digits on the card and the card is in the freezer :o What a pain in the backside.

For anyone who has had a proof of address letter, what exactly are they asking for? I'm expecting to get one any day so want to be prepared when it arrives.

Really hope it's straightforward as I've had 6 addresses in the last year!

Is anyone else waiting to hear anything since they made the application.

I applied 07/07 got the 'write to you in 5 days' message. I see some people have had either received the pin/card or letters requesting further info, l haven't heard anything at yet. I know its early days but others seem to have heard within 3-4 days.
