I applied 07/07 got the 'write to you in 5 days' message. I see some people have had either received the pin/card or letters requesting further info, l haven't heard anything at yet. I know its early days but others seem to have heard within 3-4 days.
I had the same as you paul but a pin arrived today. Nothing's tracked for me yet though.0 -

Likewise. Mine tracked fine (instant online acceptance of application) but the wife's didn't (acceptance showed as 'deferred', but the card still arrived at the same time as mine without any further enquiries being made).
Wife will be making TCB claim for the missing £50.0 -
For anyone who has had a proof of address letter, what exactly are they asking for? I'm expecting to get one any day so want to be prepared when it arrives.
Really hope it's straightforward as I've had 6 addresses in the last year!
They want all sorts of things! They asked me for FOUR pieces of documentation. I have never, ever been in debt, have a healthy wodge of savings, two credit cards (but only the one credit card account), been with same bank 25 years and in same house for 30, and I still got queried! Nuts!
For proof of address, they state:
-Gas, Eleccy, Water or Telephone Bill (excluding mobile phone) dated within the last three months
-Mortgage Statement dated within last 13 months
-Bank, Building Society Statement dated within the last 3 months
-Council Tax Bill dated within last 13 months
-Solitor's letter confirming house purchase dated within last 3 months
They might also ask for:
-ID Verification (Passport/Driving Licence)
-Bank Details (1 Full Month of Transactions dated within last 3 months)
-Employment Details (Job contract, Payslip within 3 months, HMRC proof of income within 18 months)
You can't just send off copies - you need to go up the Post Office with the original documents and copies of them and get the staff to "certify" them (all they do is check them and stamp them).

Do we think we have to activate the card before quidco/TCB will be accepted?0

Good Luck, I have had to do this, I know why because I only moved 8 weeks ago, however I went to my post office who did the above, it got returned to me because apparently the P.O Staff did not do it properly, so gave the post master the letter that came back with the returned documentation and they did everything they asked, then today they send it back again saying that the stamp from the P.O itself is not clear enough, so I have told them to forget it, the stamp is visible and can be read, absolutely pathetic, never seen anything like it before, whilst I can understand the checks the returned reasons are truly unbelievable, the P.O Counter Staff even rang them whilst I was there and complained, he has never ever seen anything so petty were his words, lol
So if you do have to do what some of us are having to, then it is advisable to check it is done as they request and make sure the P.O Stamp is definately clear, lol
I was only applying for the cashback, which hasnt even tracked despite immediate acceptance and Platinum card, so it is not worth my time to go through all of this for a card which I wont even bother using, lolI love a Bargain :beer:0 -
Hi,
I applied for the credit card a few days ago, got it today.
Can anyone tell me why there is nothing showing in my 'account' with TCP. Have I done something wrong or does it take a while to show up.
I'm getting nowhere with trying to email TCP
Thanks0 -

Did you mean TCB?
If you did...
Hi sounds likely that it has not tracked, which seems the case for the majority of applications (including mine) you need to submit a claim rather than emailing TCB.
Click 'My Account', then 'Enquiries & Claims' then 'View or submit a claim' then 'Submit a new missing cashback claim' then 'Submit a missing cashback claim' then 'Submit a missing cashback claim' again then tick the tickbox and click 'Submit missing cashback claim' again, choose Post Office from the dropdown box as merchant and fill in remaining details, you will need the last four numbers on your card.0
