Still no sign of any tracking via topcashback. Have received PIN and a letter with limit etc. Will submit a missing cashback claim once the card comes.
Did everyone get a 'platinum' card?
Wins : McCains garden games set, 2xTickets to Alton Towers, Links of London friendship bracelet, 2xIdeal Home Show tickets, McFly album CD, Virgin Balloon flight for 2 with a case of ScrumpyJack cider and 2 ltd edition jackets, Powerboat racing experience, £50 Virgin voucher, Aerobie Pro flying ring & Rice Krispie squares, Tesco baby pack :j0 -
Mike foster it will be because you have moved house recently.
Pink Lady 66 just because you stated balance transfers does not automatically mean they will give you credit limit to enable them to process. Someone could be requesting balance transfers of £20k etc. They will give a limit in line of a lot of things.
only asking or balance transfer of 2k if they offer me any lower will send it back to be honest
Make £200 by end of January... £20.42/£200
Grocery Challenge £200 pm Jan £0/£200
January no spend days - 1/310 -
Got Card...Got Pin...Submitted TCB query....
now...does anyone know how you set up this PO Credit Card a/c so you can view it/administer it online....it mentions "USER ID" at the login stage...don't recall being given one or seeing it on any of the correspondance...
just noticed this:
"
How do I register for online account access?
If you have one of the following Post Office® products you will automatically receive an 6 Digit Security Number and online User ID:- Instant Saver account
- Reward Saver
- Growth Bond
- Five Year Saver
- Credit Card"
I'm also very surprised that I don't have to "activate" this card by a phone call....seems if it went astray in the post anyone could use it immediately....No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -
I have received a pin and a letter confirming rate and limit. Nothing has tracked on TCB but I can see the details if I want to submit a claim, just waiting for the card now. I am also interested in managing / viewing this online so will post back if I get it setup.0

Just got the card today, came with a booklet that seems to state I've been signed up for one month of "free" purchase protection policy, then presumably it will charge for this although it doesn't say how much or who to call to cancel the policy. I know I clicked that I did not want insurance. This could be a real pain in the bum, as the card is in my husband's name, so presumably he has to be the one to call and cancel, and he absolutely hates dealing with CS lines. He would've rather not got the 50 quid (if we ever get it).
If anyone knows of which is the best number to call to cancel the purchase protection insurance, or some other quick, easy way to do so, please let me know!0 -
I went through Quidco, mine has tracked.
Not received card or pin yet though.0 -

I've had a PO card for a few years, you'll automatically receive a 6 digit user ID and a 6 digit security number, neither can be changed to ones of personal preference.
I do hope you're not expecting much from the online service as you will get very little ! Basically you can see transactions/credit limit/last payment/interest charged only, but can't interact (make payments, search etc) It's an archaic system which is not in real time and offers very little. Also only the first 30 transactions per month are shown as the system cannot handle anymore.0 -

I also said I didn't want the insurance, but not sure they've added 1 month free.
However, we obviously share the same husband, or at least identical twins, as mine is just the same!0 -

I got one. Been in my current house for nearly a year and a half, 3 years in the previous one. Right pain this is to get sorted.0 -

It says purchase protection is free and although automatically renewable monthly, I presume on statement day, there is no mention of a charge associated with it. The application process said it was free.
It was lost and stolen cards protection we had to opt out of in the same part of the application.0
