:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Don't go back to a violent partner. Go and find the vicar of a local church and ask for help. You will get help.

    Don't give up.Email the Samaritans http://www.samaritans.org/talk_to_someone/email.aspx

Also as you have children, try the NSPCC helpline http://www.nspcc.org.uk/help-and-advice/worried-about-a-child/the-nspcc-helpline/using-the-nspcc-helpline-hub_wdh72253.html. Calls free from landlines/some mobile operators.

    referrals@manchesterwomensaid.org

This is a referral contact for Manchester Womens Aid. I cannot see how you can stay in private rented accommodation. I think that Womens Aid will have safe houses that will give you somewhere to stay while all your problems are sorted out. You will not have to pay until you can and they will help with legal stuff etc..

    Good luck.
