With respect to non-food items, try www.freegle.co.uk and the Community furniture recycleing Network. They may need as referral from your Social Worker.

I understand that benefits can be paid without CB being in your name but that tax credits CHOOSE to operate this way. They can choose to pay them to you no if they want. Can you e-mail your MP and point out that CT are colluding with your ex in further abuse of yourself and your children?

hello everyone. just returned from the mps office and spoke to the lady at reception and shes said theres no one in 2day but she will pass my details on to the case worker. i dont know how long i'm going to be waiting to hear from them but i have left my email address as i dont have a mobile or landline.
i have been told about a place that do cook food at tea time provided by salvation army for homeless people but we are going to have to go down there and tryed for baby milk from docs but was told the only provide soya milk for babys that cant have milk so no luck there i dont no how we will get by these next couple of days nor the next 2 month if all takes that long

have you spoken to Women's Aid and seen if they can talk to Social Services about the fact that it is your ex who is abusing the system to starve you into submission? And that they need therefore to help you urgently.

i have explained in the email i have been advised to contact them and copied my first post from here, i spoke to a couple of different social workers down at the town hall and told them about all this and explained i need help i cant cope with all this alone they provided some gas, electric, milk, nappys and food parcles that has got us through to now but she said they cant keep doing it and i need to sort these benefits out after the last one but how can i when i get passed from tax creidt back to child benefit

i have ad to email them i have not got the money to ring i used my last £1 on bread yesterday so cant use the phone box just hope they reply or the mp does, i have my email open to wait for some reply

is there an email for childbenefit? or do you think they might provide an emergency payment or even taxcredit? i dont no what to do its getting late now and everywhere will be closing for the day
