Got the ;ast few pressies to wrap and then get packed as we are off to my parents for Christmas tomorrow!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Hope all your Christmas dreams come true xxx
  • Hey everyone,

Just popped on quickly as off to brave 24 hour Asda (hope they've got some shopping left on the shelves!) but just wanted to say:-

:bdaycake: to catowen! I hope you have a lovely day and your gorgeous kids look after you!

Went to the farm shop yesterday and spent far too much and got to pick up the f/r chicken, stuffing and chipolatas from the butcher today - so you'd think I didn't need much from Asda - if only! Going to try not to go too mad though!

    Lots of love

    Valentine xxx

'Morning everyone :santa2: Gosh we do have lots of busy bees posting early this morning!

    Happy Birthday Catowen:bdaycake:

Officially on two weeks holiday now. I've really been looking forward to the break. I still got up at 5.30 am though, I'm a bit of an early bird .. I tend to fall asleep around 9pm :rotfl:

I don't know what we plan to do with today. We have done all the shopping, done the visiting ... so that just leaves us to do whatever we feel like. I think we might be racking some of the demi-johns of wine. I put my first washload of clothes on my new ceiling airer last night and it looks as though they are nice and dry. It will save me a fortune not using the tumble drier.

Have a lovely OS day everyone ... and just in case I don't manage to post before the big day :xmassign:
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

Must have got up late today.

Part hangover and part tired. I had my annual Christmas party last night friends around for food and drink. We had a great time, but now I seem to be a little hungover.
I am deciding whether to brave the shops today. I don't really need anything, but the atmosphere should be good in he city. It's cold and sry here with NO FOG. so quite Christmassy.
They were 10 deep at the tills in ASDA yesterday, so I think it best to avoid the supermarkets.
At the moment all I can think about it coffee.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATOWEN :j

  • Happy Birthday Catowen :bdaycake: , welcome MelanieC, and jcr hope everyone is well again for Christmas day. (((hugs))) and :coffee: to those who are "fragile" this morning. :D

I have done everything I need to do - except take the turkey out to defrost and I will do that when I log off here (which could be tomorrow :rotfl: ). As DD and DS are spending Christmas afternoon with XDH, we are having our Christmas Day dinner tomorrow IFYSWIM. It is really beginning to feel like Christmas now. I love it!

My boss (whom I have ranted about off and on for a week now) gave me the most beautiful hamper yesterday. :o It's an Italian themed one and came in a beautiful leather-effect storage box. I will have to get the recipe books out for a couple of the ingredients (red pesto ideas anyone?) but I am looking forward to "sampling" the three bottles of wine that were in it too. I now feel guilty for being so mean about him. :o

Right, off to do some clearing up. Have a wonderful day everyone. X
