Oh Snowy, what dreadful news!! The loss of a child must be the worst thing that can ever happen to anyone. It just goes against the natural order ( well not really, but what we as mere mortals judge to be the natural order)
I was only thinking of you today and hoping you are well.
Crazychick, I do hope your children can cope with the loss of the bunny, it would be a shame if it spoilt Christmas for them. Don't let your compassion for the child known to Snowy cancel out the sorrow your own children will feel. Whilst as adults we may feel that the loss of a child outweighs the loss of a pet, to your children their pet was "real". It'll be so hard for them.
I was going to post about a lot of silly, unimportant things, but have been brought down to earth by real events. I still intend to enjoy my Christmas, but I will remember in my prayers all those who have sadness in their lives.
((((Hugs))))) to all that want them, and love to all!!

So sorry to hear about the child snowy, thats just too sad to imagine. That childs poor family will probably never really enjoy christmas again.

Luck had nothing to do with it.
It was because of their brilliance, finesse, sporting greatness that we won.

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Oh snowy that is awful to hear, poor little boy. It's a friend first Christmas without her son and I went to see her last week and she is just so brave (He had MD) I can't imagine what they are going through. Makes you realise how lucky you are when others are going through such sorrow. When I see my friend it just makes me realise how short life can be, her son was brilliant, I only just got to know him just before he passed away, nothing ever stopped him, he had a wicked sense of humour, then he caught a cold which ended his life due to his other problems. My uncle and his wife lost a baby last week and I didn't even know what to say, nothing can take the pain away.
Holly isn't tiny, she's about 12 inches high, lanky legs bless her. She looks a lot bigger on the photo, I keep falling over her, not had anything so small running around the house before. Definately fun but my other dog is now putting her in her place as she's being a pest! One day I might be more organised...........

Manic day today, running around tying up all the loose ends before we head off up to Lincolnshire tomorrow morning until the beginning of January, but just wanted to log on and say...
Happy Birthday, Catowen :bdaycake: - sorry its a bit late, but I'm glad you had a lovely day!!
Merry Christmas to everyone. Am hoping I'll be able to log on while we are away (we have just had broadband connected, but it means taking a computer up with us and setting it all up, so probably won't be a priority for the first few days...:o).

Oops, posted without reading all the way to the end (that'll teach me...:o).
So sorry to hear the sad news about your neighbour's little boy, Snowy, and also about Crazychik's bunny. I second what Churchmouse said about how you feel about your loss, and I hope that your children deal with it OK and it doesn't spoil their Christmas... :grouphug:
