What a cute dog lil me. I so miss having a pooch and if ever my work involves me being home based more I will definetly get one.
Well M and S was a complete revelation today - decided to walk (about a mile ish) to save fighting for a car parking space and it was less busy than a usual Saturday:mad: Loads of spaces:rolleyes: Anyway the walk did me good and I have some aromatic crispy duck and special fried rice to enjoy for dinner. Also got the skirt I wanted for Boxing Day so all outfits sorted for the festive period:j
My best mate, hubby, god daughter and dog came round this afternoon for pressy dropping port and mince pies:beer: but I ended up making bacon butties because everyone was too hungry for just mince piesI love Christmas it gives you permission to eat and drink anything anytime!! (payback time in January I know!!)
Anyway avoiding that dance programme (must be the only one on here who is by the sound:D ) so as I have a big pile of ironing to do I think I will put a good old chrimbo movie on.
Hope you all have a lovely Christmas eve and Christmas if this is your last post

Greetings to one and all.
I have finally managed to get out of the kitchen, the windows are streaming and the place looks as though a "Beetroot Bomb" has exploded in there . Dear No2 son decided that he wanted Borscht, Golumpki, Kapusta and Pierogi as my contribution to the family christmas dinner (Wigilia) So today I HAD to get things started, tomorrow will be all stinky Cabbage and Caraway seeds. I am so happy it is only once a year. the Ex has announced she is attending so I guess I shall have to book a bouncer as well :cool:Oh the joy of Cristmas - I am tatered now and going to drink some (lots) of beer .

She is cute, but she has sure kept me busy and that means not got much done today, unfortunately been 18 years since I last had a young puppy like this on my hands and I am finding toilet training a tad frustrating and it's only day one, sure we'll get there, just looking for ideas online at the minute. I am a SAHM and DP usually just works the 3 nights a week so have the time, or I wouldn't have taken her on. Just probably the worst time ever to take on a new pet, the day before Xmas eve. Manic without the extra little one, but we'll do our best as always, it's definately making me keep everything off the floor as she is like a hoover!! Sucks up more than my Dyson! She seems to have 1 hour running about like a hyperactive toddler, then 30 minutes sleeping!
As soon as I seen the pics of her when someone contacted me to say they had just saved her from being shot, I couldn't resist. Kids are overexcitied with them, probably be easier once they are in bed which will be soon!
Happy Christmas to all those who won't be online again until after, hope the festive season brings happiness to your hearts and homes
Tescos was quieter than yesterday aswell, everyone must have thought the same, oh we'll go on Friday, I got served almost immediately and each queue was 6 or 7 people deep, some with 2 trolleys.
I've opted for putting some presents into sacks/gift bags, the kids got bored of unwrapping last year aswell as for the family members who always get the kids to unwrap for them, I thought why waste the time and effort!!One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Ow, what a gorgeous puppy!
Just back fro makro and they have reduced cranberries to 20p per bag. I don't suppose that H/M cranberry jellly would keep for over a year??? (thinking next years hampers)
Can't wait to get the boys in bed so I can do some wrapping. This time last year I'd wrapped most of the stocking stuff - a first for me.. Looks like I'll be doing the more traditional up until 3am stuffing stockings this year!!!

Awwwww lil_me, Holly looks adorable!
:p
Well then, my place looks fit to have the TV cameras in (no I don't mean the cleaning team ) and I'm about to get ready and then go for a drink with friends.
I'm soooooo not going to do anything in the next few days except quaff and scoff :drool:Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Holly - I love you.
Let's quoff and scoff!
Hugs and kisses.

Evening all - hope we are well
Bad news bunny died about an hour ago, he was gasping for breath and finally gave in. He lasted just under a week! The kids will be gutted when they come home tomorrow and find him not here.
Delivered presents earlier, wasn't out for long, as my head still hurts.
OH collected his birthday cards and present from his mum, (its his birthday Xmas eve), going to have a cuppa now, and relax in the bath
Take care all
