My OH is an ebay addict - pity it's just the buying side of it and not the selling side! Whatever household gadget - you name it, we've got two. Courtesy of the dreaded fleabay. Whereas me, well, today I did a mini grocery shop and managed to do it for £4.69 under budget. I was so excited I promptly transferred that sum into the household expenditure account to go towards my car tax (due end of August). I do live an exciting life at times.....One life - your life - live it!0

You and me nargleblast...he luckily doesn't know how to use fleabay. Recent eg of spends though, i gave him £20 to do some grocery shopping, he spends on his card and pockets the £20..result, he kids himself he hasn't drawn any money out, i get no change ...and he goes out of the circle of trustBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

You will just have to calculate exactly how much money to give him next time, and give him that exact amount. Mind you, the way prices are rising, you will have to take your socks off as you will run out of fingers.
The circle of trust, eh? I love those films....just need to get hold of the latest in the series, rumour has it that it is very funny. One life - your life - live it!0 -
I thought about £9 covered what i wanted, a free range chook, mince and some cooked ham from Aldi. He could have even splashed out on some nuts and i would have had change....
I have to be 10 steps ahead of him and it gets harder every year. He owes me petrol money as well-the only good thing about having a joint account is that i can transfer money, but then that increases the overdraft on that account-which i never use BTW, i refuse to put anything in until he clears the overdraft which he ran up. I transferred all my accounts away from the bank so they can't snatch my money again. It is going down now though so it is heading in the right direction.
I love the 'Focker' filmsI haven't seen the latest one either.

Thanks for the blog link, I stayed up past my bedtime reading her blog and a couple of the ones she follows.... And at least one good thing came out of it, I decided I DON'T need a new pair of v high heels for my holibobs (even if they are reduced to £8), if I don't have a pair that goes with my clothes in the cupboard then my sister surely will... And as I am 5'10'' anyway I don't need anything that high!! And in all probability will wear flippy floppies the entire week anyhow. Small steps, but something I suppose!
I do find it rather astounding that Mr Bob so obviously considers all the money "his" to pocket if he pleases... or spend. What would he do without you?!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”
