    Well it is amazing what you can get done if you have the time- I have turned the TV off- well if truth be told i did have enough of it last week...

    Today i have filled in tax forms to claim my expenses back for other things, it turns out my other company were not exactly good at this, so i have done it myself- and lets face it, at least i now have the skills to do so. I am very proud of myself as i have gone back 6 years for some of my professional subs- and as i was ploughing through it- i thought, why do some companies claim for this when we can do it for ourselves- folks fill in the same details. A lot of supply companies work through umbrella companies to do just this and they charge a fee- so GO DO IT FOR YOURSELF..save some dosh.

    That's my thought for the day.

    Oh and i have scrubbed the bathroom to within an inch of its life..good workout and smells nice to.
    I replaced the shower curtain- I never liked the other one and £3 is a bargain at B&M's store. I will use the other one as a boot liner- so no waste there.

    Next thing to tackle is the flooring. Some of you may remember i had to re plumb the toilet due to incompetent plumbers, well it also meant moving toilet back to get it level - which left a slight gap in the flooring. So i had a brainwave today- it is a creamy colour-i thought of cutting out and inlaying some black tiles( i have some spare) around the gap- cut to fit the shape of toilet( this is a Edwardian type- so square bottom if that makes sense) and it will be a bit of a feature. Practical and hopefully save me a bob or two as i wont have to replace the whole lot. :)

    Of course i wouldn't nick your copyright GJ...scurries off to write it down on the sly:D:rotfl:

    I just started with tax and then it snowballed- it just has to be done:D If it means we are debt free sooner then even better.

    d'ya know what bob ??? you've always been one of the most optimistic peeps on these boards, and I have to say I admire you for it.     That's so nice of you to say so- and hope your cold is terminated soon GJ- best wishes to the missus and mini GJ's:D

    Might pick your techie brain tho, as DD2's laptop keeps turning itself off. I have downloaded stuff for her as rec on techie board- any other advice?:D

    Quick note to say that i have also advised her to lift it off her lap and let it breathe a bit- she rests it on laptray but not sure if it is over heating.
    Will clean it for her tomorrow and see whats what.
