    Went for my review today and it was as pants as i suspected it would be- in fact it was worse than pants.

    One laughable thing was an offer of a loan-disgusting- typical spiel re all your payments in one place blah blah blah. Kept repeating i didn't want one...good job to.

    The most they could save me was £2 on home insurance- but that is not due to be renewed yet and i would go through a cashback site.

    Mortgage was dearer by 1% but it was magically fixed-err i think they must be on a reel with the same old guff.

    Well that is an hour of my life i won't get back.:o

    Serves me right.

    Back to washing.:D:rotfl:

    Bloomin' banks! If they ask me if I want a review I just laugh... by the time it starts to get hysterical, they get the idea :D

    They got me at the wrong moment and i had to go to the bank anyway- tuts as i must be getting soft in my old age:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

    She was very nice though, and pleasant and polite all the way through. It is her job so i suppose she has to say it.:o

    Well today may count as a good day:D

    I applied for new bank account for Mr.B and he has been accepted. It comes with an interest free overdraft, not quite sure if he will get that one and £100 for him and £25 for me for recommending him. It means that the joint account can now be closed down:D He was so chuffed and it was nice to see. He suddenly became very motivated as in he now is sorting out how to pay off NW overdraft( miracles never cease) He is cashing in shares and it makes for a promising start. Suddenly he is seeing the possibility of changing things and i hope becoming in control of his own finances.

    He has his own snowball account now and i have printed it off for him- so he can see what he has to do and how much money he has to play with. Letters will be written for him to get some full and final settlement figures. :money::money:

    Never thought i would see the day- what a blooming good nights work that was:D:j

    It certainly is beanie- Weird isn't it? The atmosphere just shifted in the house! It went from i can't see a way out/i'm trying my best etc..to if i do this then that will happen/ i will be DF by this date and if i have overtime etc....suddenly it was a whole new ball game.
