It would get scanned, packages get scanned just before handed to you... so unless the items were mixed in one package with your items they would know.

This is whole package. There were 3 on that email, and the other 2 arrived. All of them had scan at 8:22 - the other 2 - received by courier and this one at the exactly same time - not received by courier...

I can just see this picture in front of my eyes them throwing it all onto a van and this one package missing the door!!:rotfl:

my parcel never left the warehouse, I had the email to say it was on the way and the only record shown on hermes tracking site was that the order was generated after that nothing!!! Its just as well I didn't really need anything in that package like the others, must have had sixth sense feeling as I actually picked up on of the missing items (9 missing altogether) in the store on Saturday just in case it did'n't arrive!!!

I have had a similar problem with one package saying order generated but not gone any further, it should have been delivered yesterday and it was an instock item, very annoyed

Sale items don't usually come over night. If it is saying order generated and nothing after that, then they are still working on it. I suppose it will come today or tomorrow. You still have chance of it arriving.

I had emails last week when the parcel arrived only 3 days later.

I had emails last week when the parcel arrived only 3 days later.

It wasn't overnight, I had a despatch email for two parcels, one arrived safely and the other one has been stuck at order generated for a few days. Seems a bit weird to despatch two parcels at the same time and only one arrive.

Past years sale items have always been sent next day for me,wonder why it has ben changed this year, maybe it's been busier than normal?

Sorry to say but don't hold your breath. My email was exactly same as yours detailing two parcels. Parcel no 2 arrived day later, parcel 1 stuck at order generated stage and that's where it stuck

I cannot believe the courier that Next use is so stupid! I dont know if theyre inundated with stuff just now but I got up yesterday to a card through the door saying that they had tried to deliver. Odd since I was in and they didnt knock. They said my item was in my 'safe place' again odd since I dont have one listed.

I opened the door and walked right into my parcel. A maxi dress which was hanging by the coathanger on my front door frame!!!!! Totally covered the door so that when I opened it all I could see was the Next packaging.

What on earth would even make them think for a second this was a good idea???

Thankfully its fine and I love it but honestly I really do have to question their sanity

Well after my last order didkn't turn up I decided I wouldn't bother with them again.

But I couldn't resist a pair of sandals I really wanted! So I went online to order yesterday evening, but needed to register which I didn't want to do so I rang them instread.

OMG, I was on the phone 14 mins. Spoke to 3 different people, gave my address 4 times. A what a pain. I did explain to the CS girl that all I really wanted to do was press the buy and pay buttons online. She got defensive and told me that I needed to open a customer account so I could get a customer number in case there was a problem with my order. Well, thats what orders numbers and telephones are for, I told her!! Good grief, I've never known it be so hard work to buy and pay for a pair of £18 sandals!! lol :rotfl:

Oh and I ordered before 9am so shouldn't they have been here today? Really, never again. Shoddy.

Does anyone know how long they continue to update the stock on the website for?

They were updating stock from the spring sale all the way up to this sale. To be honest I would be wary of their sale items after a while as they are full of tag holes/missing sets.
I ordered a few bits for my daughter from the spring sale and had to take most of it back.
