I got about 1/3rd of my order through today, a few items to go back, one I am cross about is a lovely top for my daughter but when I took it out of the packet it has a load of big drip stains on it (looks like tea!)
Am tempted to keep it as think it should wash out but then if it does not then I am stuffed as can't really return it once I have done that.
    Sigh!

Has anyone bought any of the black scoop dining chairs advertised as a pair of chairs for £20.00 during VIP?

Next sent me only one chair in my delivery this week and not a pair of chairs. I therefore emailed to ask where the other chair is and they are saying you only get one although on the website it clearly stated the word pair in the title. not just for the black but for the blue and pink ones too.

I have emailed them back with a copy of the confirmation email they sent after my VIP slot which also says pair of chairs in the title. Waiting for a response. Cant see it on web now as they are probably all sold out.

Gonna get annoyed today - Am I wrong on this one? Anyone who has also purchased these please post. Will they honour what they advertised?

Something similar happened to me in the mid sason sale. I ordered a duvet cover took it out of the packaging and washed it, hung out to dry and noticed it had a 6 " slit down it. Rang them and sent was told to send it back, no problems ;)

Okay, CS called me back apologising saying it was their error and apologised for the rude email I received making out like I was thick - indeed I should have received 2 chairs. Of course there are no more chairs even in stock now . He offered me the one chair at £10.00 and I asked him how useful did he think one chair was too me. He then said I could have it free and would refund my money. Of course I took the free chair but really still unhappy as I thought I had grabbed what was a great bargain.

Typical - this was the 3rd thing in my basket and was actually in stock but they still could not fulfill my order

Disappointed to say the least :(

Are returns via courier free. I have been on Next website and it states a charge of £3.99. They did not charge before.

    Can someone please clarify this?
  • my returns have always been free. :j

They brought the charge in about a year ago...it only applies if you return a whole order I think.

    Found this

A collection charge will not be made if you keep part of your order.

A Courier collection charge of £3.99 is applied if you return your whole order.

If you return all items ordered in one transaction, any one of which is collected by our courier, you will be charged a collection charge of £3.99. On returning the whole order, we will refund the delivery charge of £3.99.

Call 0844 844 8000 to arrange for your courier to collect items from home, or log into ‘My Account’ at next.co.uk to arrange a courier return.

Funnily enough, I bought my son some linen trousers a fwe weeks back and one of them had a massive slit down the front. Took them back to the store and she said it looked like a stanley knife (maybe they use them to open boxes of stock and have a few casualties?)
