Beautyandthebeast I did get a VIP slot in the current sale and all previous sales. I don't think people read my posts correctly or maybe I didn't word it correctly, probably the latter

Intial post was comments about how I feel about VIP customers reselling etc and the fairness of it.. Was only my opinions were all entitled to opinions.

Sure it's their job they do..doesn't mean I can't and don't feel sorry for them
People have made assumptions from my intial post that I have the hump on about people returning items. I said that nowhere, was merely pointing out that my mum didn't get a vip slot because of the high amount of returns she had previous to the sale.

Everyone who got a 'vip' invite all sit browsing at the preview.
Sale time comes and there is nothing there. You discover that the staff allowed to use the site before the 'vip' section have bought it all to resell on ebay, nobody would care less? I think differently but hey ho... I'm allowed to think differently to you, that don't make me wrong or right

I said nothing about people selling bits they don't want. I said that I think a vip member buying 'purely' to resell on to make profit <isn't fair.
I am sure Next don't care that my neighbour came a long and bought crazy quantitys purely to make a profit on, I didn't suggest they cared either.
I suggested to make it fair on all customers, it would be fairer if NEXT limited the quantity i.e only allowing sale customers to buy 1 or 2 bottles of perfumes instead of as many as they like, which would give all 'VIP' customers a chance of getting something they wanted.
Other major online retailers limit the quantity of an item in a sale items. Supermarkets often allow 2 per customer of sale items.
At xmas on one of the sites I used to purchase xbox games for my son, each titled was limited to 2 per customer... Seems fair!
What I have wrote - Make of what you will assumptions an all.

Well there you go then, your post was huge - like war and peace and it did read like you were having a general moan and whinge. If you got a slot then perhaps you could have ordered stuff for your mom because she didnt get one?

Anyone else ordered things off the sale last week, received a confirmation email but they're not showing up on their online account?? Some items have shown up and about half haven't! Starting to worry!x
