It's sad that people are still being taken in by them.0

Is it me, or are there no details of their company registration on their site?
Doesn't help in these cases, but it's one of my starting points for deciding if I might actually use a company.0 -
Ordered a phone charger 23 Sep 12. Confirmation received same day & progress email promised in 2 days. No progress update & no charger. Sent email 2 Oct & received 'despatched' email advice next day. Charger received yesterday.0

"Another victim".
I bought a pair of Sennheiser PMX80 Sport II headphones from these people.
After three weeks they'd not arrived. I emailed them and they promised to put another pair in the post for next day delivery, which they did.
The headphones worked ok for two weeks then broke. As per the warranty terms I contacted NiceCans who issued me with a prepaid returns barcode. I sent my headphones back and that's the last I've heard. I've written at least 6 emails asking for an update, all have been ignored. No reply whatsoever and no sign of my headphones. It's been over 5 months since I returned them.
It's a bit sickening that a company can still be 'trading' like this. Avoid like the plague.0 -
I placed two orders on the 2nd Oct.
1. 4 x Wii Remote Controllers (Black) = £107.96
2. 2 x Wii Nunchucks (Black) = £17.98
The Controllers arrived on 8th Oct, but were NOT 'Genuine' Nintendo ones! They looked and felt like cheap imports!
The Nunchucks never did arrive.....
I was not happy with the controllers and requested I return them for a refund (and also a refund for the missing nunchucks!)
The telephone number 0844 8127713 is a JOKE! No one EVER answers!!!!!! I tried emailing so many times, that I've lost count!
One the 12th Oct. out of the blue, an email arrived to say that I will be refunded for the missing nunchucks, and to return the controllers using the postage label they had attached.
I sent the controllers back - I used Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed next day). I have proof that the parcel was delivered and signed for by the name of 'WATTS'.
I have been continually trying to contact them since, to ask when I will get my refund for the controllers (£107.96). But so far, NOTHING!!! As I paid using my debit card, I am going to see if my bank can help.
I have notified Trading Standards, and sent an enquiry to Citizens Advice.
These people need to be stopped from stealing money from innocent, hard working individuals!

Dangit. I wish I'd seen this forum before ordering from nicecans. I ordered something from their site on 3rd December but hadn't received it by 19th December so I wrote to them that day. No response.
Still no response by 3rd January, so I emailed them again that day. Again, no response.
I have called their 0844 number twice today - it rings and rings, then an automated message says "sorry, there is no reply..."
Thankfully, my order value was only around £8 but it's the principle of the thing really - the items I ordered were gifts for Christmas, too.

Hi Kitten, welcome to the forums.
Have a read of MSE's Chargeback article then get in touch with your card issuer about a refund.0 -
Hi wealdroam thanks for the welcome and response.
I've just had a look at the link you popped up but it seems that is only for orders of >£100 so I don't think it's worth following up because we only placed an £8 order.
But thanks for the link anyway, that's definitely worth knowing about!0 -

It covers both debit and credit cards, Visa, Amex or Mastercard, for all purchases.
There is however a minimum of £10 for Mastercard.
A claim under Section 75 of the CCA has a minmum of £100... something different.0 -
Then you need to read the article more carefully.

Oops, sorry :embarasse
I will take another look...0
