  • Hi, i have recently been a victim of this company, very annoying! I ordered an item and paid just under £25 by credit card. I paid extra for quicker delivery aswell! The item did not arrive and there has been no reply to my emails and no answer from the telephone calls. This company should be on Cowboy Traders. I contacted my bank and they are pursuing the company and will potentially be able to extract the money back from where it was sent or at least cover me on insurance. I wish i had read this forum berfore ordering and i will be alot more careful when ordering online in the future. This loss is unacceptable and this company should not be able to get away with this. I hope everyone else gets the help they need sorting this out.

    Hi all,

Like everyone else here, I ordered some 2 weeks ago and my card was charged immediately, yet no goods were delivered.

I emailed them 2 days ago but heard nothing, so called the 0844 number today and was surprised to get through within 2 or 3 rings. A chap called Michael told me that my order would be with me in 2 days or so, and whilst I was on the phone I got an email from them.

He told me they'd had server problems and it's all getting sorted out now, but I'll believe him when I actually get something through the post!

Also, I asked for an alternative to the 0844 number but no joy...

Have a look on SayNoTo0870 and see if there is a cheaper alternative number there.

Wished I'd seen this before purchasing from nicecans, have wiated over 4 weeks for a spare mobile phone battery. I emailed them 2 weeks ago for an update, finally received a reply last week. It stated that the item was shown incorrectly as unpaid. But now they have dispatched the item to me.

I'm guessing it'll never turn up.

Off to the bank I go and try and get my money back, guess they hope that as it's a small amount that I won't bother. But it's more principle over the money.

I've also recently been a victim of this company. Wish I'd just done a quick google search first. I've returned the fake headphones they sent (yes they did actually send me something) but I'm not sure about how to force they to give me my money back...so far they are just ignoring my emails/calls.

Avoid like the plague. These guy(s) need reporting really badly.
  • At the end of May I ordered some Sennheiser headphones on the nicecans to replace a knackered pair. As I had to wait for a month to receive the product, I called mastercard to
claim back my £19.99 which they were happy to do. Eventually the headphones arrived and whilst looking close(ish) to the real thing, they were fakes. I am convinced this web site is a chinese scam as it explains the low prices, the time it takes to receive the goods (presumably from some distant Chinese province) and the fact that the goods are fake when they arrive.
  • Re "Does anyone know what to do now? I have looked on the card save website but not sure what I need to ask them. Or should I contact my bank to dispute the card transaction?

I'm basically totally clueless! I can't imagine I'll get my money back, and don't want to incur any extra wasted money chasing nicecans up on a probably fake 0844 number yet I do really want to complain to someone as they can't keep on getting away with this!!!!"

If call your credit card company they should dispute the payment on your behalf and get the money paid back to your card (the customer services number should be on the back of the card you used). Size does not seem to be an issue as I did this with a £19.99 transaction. Good Luck.

Did not look into who nicecans.co.uk were before making my purchase(s).

The odd thing is my initial purchase of a iphone dock £19.99 was not sent out as apparently it was damaged and was the last one in stock so after a few email exchanges i was told that i was being refunded. Refund email received on the 19 June 2012. To date no refund

Unfortunately i did not check my bank account and foolishly placed another order for 2 alternative iphone docks (1 for me and 1 for a friend). All the usual emails of order received, order being processed and dispatched. So still did not suspect anything. To the point i was impressed so ordered another iphone dock for another friend.

I guess to think about it now, having found so much about these rogue traders the email i received when the goods where dispatched was on Saturday. Who dispatches on a Saturday???

Anyway to my surprise my last single order arrived. So i was happy. When i emailed to find out about my order order of 2 docks - no reply. So for about 2 weeks now I've been emailing the 3 emails addresses i have to chase. I've even rang the 0844 number only to be met by an answer phone. I'm still out of pocket £57.96. Tomorrow i'll be speaking to my bank to see what can be done.

Just cannot understand what is going on. I placed 3 orders - 1 received - 2nd no refund and 1 order completely missing.

Please can any one tell me if anyone has pursued these guys and been successful? I used a debit card to pay hence expected my refund to the same card but no luck.

I'm not sure how many people have fallen foul to this site and how many more people will. Can we not do something about these rogue dodgy folks?
  • I purchased 3 items all of which turned up. Amazing. The HTC in car charger & holder was faulty, no charge getting through to the holder so I contacted Nice Cans & I was sent the instructions on how to go about returns, all good. This was 8 weeks ago & nothing since. No replies to any emails or phone calls. Every call has gone to a voicemail by the way. Has anyone ever been to the premises in Southampton as when I'm next down there I think a visit is in order. At the moment I'm £39.00 out of pocket.

    My advice STAY WELL CLEAR
  • I have joined this site specifically to make this post. I bought a phone case from Nicecans and paid for express delivery. It took 2 weeks to arrive and when it did the fit was very poor. I looked again at what I had ordered and realised they have sent me the wrong model (although this shouldn't have mattered too much as both are supposed to fit the phone). Also, after reviewing the product on other websites the quality should have been absolutely fantastic. The one I got looked like it had been assembled by a chimp. I have contacted the manufacturer to see if my product is counterfeit and am awaiting confirmation, after which I will send it along with photos of the product and details of the company

I have tried numerous times by email and phone to get hold of this scam company to arrange the return and refund of the piece of rubbish they have sent me but as I am sure you can guess from previous posts they just do not pick up the phone or respond to emails. Please ignore them. Do not give them your money.
