Well until today it went on nothing.
But today it went on a costco membership £30 and a spend of £146, which the OH will pay half for! Eek
This included toilet toll, kitchen roll, washing powder, fabric softner, crisps, cans, cereal bars, ham, cheese, roast beef, oj, ribena, soup...
Ehhh there was one or two more things but I can't think what! Anyway we shouldn't be needing much of the above any time soon except for the cold meat, cans etc that are all for lunches. :T
I will be stocking up on the ham and that from costco from now on though, was like £5-£6 for a massive packet! Defo value for money! :money:
Going to make a conscious effort to be shopping there when I can especially for the lunch stuff!
Dinner sorted for Mon and Tues (from previous shop) and then no dinners required until Friday. Pay day Friday and I HOPE to have some money left over - £200 to be approx! Which will be going to the family loan! The OH owes me half the money for xmas presents so I could MAYBE have more than £200! But still got 2 xmas nights out to go so i'm still likely to go over budget.
Should go to the cc first but as i've said before I REALLY want rid of this family loan!0 -
I really need to get over how much other people spend and how much money they have.
I'm becoming bitter, anyone else becoming bitter when in debt? It's ridiculous I'm getting the rage at family and friends who have money and are more sensible/tight with their money. I feel like a bit like half jealous, half a mug for being so stupid all these years. Its not their fault it's my own.
But everyone assumes if you get paid more then you have more. Both my sisters I have just found out both have a couple of K in their bank accounts and are spending 500-800 on their OH's at Crimbo! Clearly the good with money gene skipped me!!!!! I'm a terrible person but I got angry at this as I get paid more than them so I'm usually expected to pay for coffee etc, well I told them both that I had £21 left in my bank last month and the have 2-3k?!?! That's the last time I EVER pay for anything - EVER!!!
This debt free road gives a lot of lessons learned!
Anyway pay day on 23rd YEEEHHHAAA!
Wedding shoes down to £69! Plus had a voucher for £10 so £59 for shoes - CHECK!!! No cash back available though
Got my bag to match in sale from £60 to £30 - CHECK! No cash back available either though
But either way what should have cost me £200 for shoes and bag has cost me £90! Both of which I had spied when full price! So that defo is a saving.
Also saw the wedding present i'm getting my mate, down from £55 to £38! Again was something i was going to get her! Really happy about this just need to wait until im paid to order!
Purchased part of the friends b.day, got her rings from £10 to £5! Want to get her something else around £10 and that's her done! Speaking to one of my cheap mates and she was saying that if you were going to spend £20 and something is £10 in a sale then you've saved £10 and that's for you! Well that logic will be getting applied to her this year!
Got a to-pay-immediately list drawn up already. My ambition for Jan is to pay £1,000 to the loan. Extremely ambitious but I think I can do it! Need to get the trusty spreadsheet out to do some calculations, also to pay £100 to the hen weekend funds! Already set up the DD to leave on Friday.
Also MUST open separate bank account to fund the 9 weddings I have next year (7 full day, 2 evening), 4 hen weekends and my massive holiday with my family in September!!! Plus one wedding is in London and one in Ireland! Perhaps I should only put £800 to the loan and £200 to this account, I'm going to need it!!!
Plan to do this Friday afternoon!x0 -
Not even christmas day and i'm already so lucky (despite all my moaning)!
My friend (despite us agreeing not to presents) got me and AMAZING gift, she said its cos shes knows im struggling and i got her girls a little present!!!! How lucky am i to have a friend like that!
And my secret santa in work got me brilliant makeup! And its makeup i love and use! Glad i went a wee bit over budget with mine!
OH has gave me a little present to open tomorrow as we won't be seeing each other!
Sitting with my family after the church service with a wee glass of vino and the dogs sleeping on my lap, feeling very blessed and lucky right now! Cant wait to see both my sisters tomorrow and fight over what we want to watch on tv xxx0 -

Hope you all have a lovely Day xx0 -
Given myself a lovely manicure!
Something seeing as I have about 30 nail varnishes (mostly nails inc along with some chanel, nars and rimmel) I am not intending to pay for ever again!
So will be having FABULOUS nails from now o!
Been trying out lots of colours, today is deep red!
Still scouring for cheap birthday presents! Believe it or not i'm actually quite thoughtful so don't just want to buy them anything! Seen some lovely hand cream that someones going get i think just need to get into the shops to buy it as not worth the while paying the P&P if i get it online!
MUST MUST MUST open a savings account! x0 -
Good luck with your debt repayments. I hope it works out for you.
Must be hard when your sisters have saved so much. On the other hand you could use it as a spur to drive you on. Ie that you want to have that much saved too.
chev
ps HOW MANY WEDDINGS? Holy cow, that is going to be an interesting year, to fund the presents and that for that little lot. Good luckI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks Chevalier! I know! This was a recent revelation re the sisters AND my blimming brother! Its is spurring me on and stopping me paying for the coffees from now on

I know, we have possibly one or 2 night time invites coming aswell! The OH and I have made an agreement yesterday that we won't be attending the evening weddings (well if he had his way we wouldn't be attending half of the weddings) but we compromised on the evening ones, some of them are quite far away so we can't justify the hassle/costs!
Spent £13 in Tesco yesterday on an iphone cover, beers and deodorant! Random purchases! Shouldn't have bought the beers.... x0 -
Soo went to outdoor sale and spent 117!
Am owed £40 of that, but still that is then basically and £80 spend on an "extra" xmas present for my OH and trousers!
Needed the trousers, they were on my need list (see previous posts). And did get ALOT of xmas money, but still  £80 was not what my spend was supposed to be!!!0
