  • Sooo currently watching Die Hard 2! And eating chocolate... :EasterBun

I REALLY REALLY wanted to use that bunny! Got a box of Thorntons, and 2 bars of Lindt to munch my way through! A bar of Green and Blacks and i'd be sorted! Much like everything in life i have expensive chocolate taste, unfortunately i don't have the bank account to match it!!!

Spent £15 in Tesco today restocking on the basics after not being home for crimbo! Milk, bread, onions, toms etc

So currently my OH owes me £27.50
    Sister = £20

I used to forget these things, serioulsy, not anymore! Sis will be getting billed!

    Tomorrow To Do list:

    1) Change my pandora bracelet for another size :D, possibly change charm aswell...undecided on that yet.
    2) Pay £700 to family loan, i do this manually, withdraw from current acc, walk round corner to other bank - don't know why!
    3) Open bank savings account - put xmas money in before it gets spent! I refuse to put this to debt!
    4) Take back sister bag i bought as its in sale and will save me £5 :(
    5) Start jogging again - December festivities making it harder to fit into clothes, even more so when i don't have money to buy new ones! This isn't a laughing matter i really don't have money for new clothes so this needs to be sorted. Salads in January me thinks!
    6) Buy fancy hand cream for mates b.day! Then thats her b.day done! Only buying if in sale!
    7) Buy cheap champers from Tesco

Actually I need to find receipts for 2 of the above, need to do that just now! xx
  • Just made a £191.00 payment to the credit card taking the total down to £3,000

They took double the min payment last month? Hmmm not sure, interest was about same. Kind of happy in a way as it's an extra £80 off it that i'm not sure i would have paid!

    Going to update signature :D
  • Hello, just stopping by your diary (I've been secretly [STRIKE]stalking[/STRIKE] reading it for a few days *shifty*) to say congratulations on getting your credit card down to £3000! Those nice round numbers are great :D
    Savings target: £25000/£25000

Now you need to find an extra few pence somehow (try down the back of the sofa) and pay that to the cc too... you will love having the debt starting with a 2 not a 3. :D

I don't know how the payments work out. Is it possible it's a 4-weekly payment and there just happened to be two payments dates in December? Doesn't seem very likely though.

Ha ha about the chocolate bunny! I like dark chocolate so the milky ones aren't too serious a temptation because they are always second best to me.

I also need to do some jogging or something equally energetic or I won't lose anything for the two stone / two grand / four months challenge. I'm not going to start till I've shifted this bronchitis though. I think there are a few threads and challenges around for running if that will help spur you on. :)

As for the £117 spend, well you needed trousers so that was money well spent and presumably OH is happy with his extra present? :D

  • Hi guys! :hello:

Thanks mildredalien! Popped over you way aswell your doing soooooooo good £1.5k in 3 months!!! Loving the meal plans aswell! Chicken and Chorizo Stew. YUM YUM YUM

I know miggy, i'm already thinking about HOW much i want it under 2k!

Weeelll there's a bar of dark chocolate lindt also lurking in the fridge! I love the Green and Blacks Maya Gold! Mmmmm :EasterBun

Anyway its the red wine and chocolate train again tonight :D Taking full advantage of these crimbo hols! :snow_laug Going a run tomorrow though  I don't like to wait until 1st of Jan thing so i start on 31st December! Start the new year as i mean to go on!

I like this 2 stone 2K challenge, although i just don't think i could lose 2st. I do alot of weights/circuits so last time i lost like 3 dress sizes and if i do say so myself was looking good ;) but on the scales only lost like 5/6lbs!!! I've already had a wee peek on the running threads ;) need to get back to a club, i really enjoy running with others! Plus total stereotyping but runners usually seem to be really nice people!

Defo needed the trousers, not had them off! They are my new dog walking trousers!
  • I can't take all the credit for the meal plans, they largely come from resourcefulcook.com at the moment (I'm far too lazy to make my own meal plans and shopping lists from scratch!) Fortunately as long as I stay away from the fishy stuff that DB isn't a fan of, they have loads of tasty menus :)

I'm a great believer that how you look/feel is far more important than what you weigh or your BMI!

  • Just checked out that website Midlredalien!

    Thats brilliant!!! Thanks very much!

Going back to check it out again properly and get some meal plans for next when i'm back at work!!

Thanks again I love it when someone tells you about cool things! x
  • Happy new year everyone! I did actually post it - have just noticed it's not went up!

So my new years resolution? To clear my debt (obv) and to stop swearing! Not that i swear all the time but i've been doing it more than is acceptable recently! It's not lady like!

Also ideally i have this idea in my head where if i hammer it, i could be debt free by July! I just can't bare the thought of it being December before i'm debt free!

Think the OH and I are getting a new car, we NEED one! So been looking into that, things are going to be TIGHT next year - but i'm READYY FOR IT!!! x
