I know this is terrible but it almost seems like I have been abandoning my PADs :o I am so busy keeping up with the counting up.

However, I managed a PAD yesterday of £2.30 so I can't grumble too much :)

Have a nice day everyone :D

YNAB trialler. Debt at 2nd LBM, Sep 2015: £24,162. <swear>

  • does anyone know whether the virgin (mbna) cc deducts any extra payments through the month from the minimum payment total?

e.g. if my minimum payment is supposed to be £100 but i've padded £20, will my minimum payment be £80 or still £100?

I think it depends on how you've set things up with them. When I had my Virgin card they still took the minimum amount and anything I PADded was just extra (which i think is better because more is being paid off).

However, I shifted everything to Barclaycard and it's a bit different. If I set up a DD to pay the minimum payment they would just take the difference after I had PADded but if I set up a fixed amount they would take that and the PADs would be extra.

You'll need to check with Virgin I think.

    HTH!
