Hi Dizzy

Bit of a sore throat today and headache now.

I'm wondering if a tipple of Amaretto may cure it?!:rotfl:

Hope you get all sorted tomorrow.

My house is a most dreadful mess so I'm hoping I get that done tomorrow.

Will need a few supermarket bits and hopefully will have a swim.

I'm happy to have got some mistletoe from the Market and also a bit of veg, the mistletoe was half the price of the florist I'm sure.

I'm the same throat wise. D'ya know Ruby I'm sure I read somewhere that Ameretto actually is a well known cure for sore throats but only if taken in large quantities so...cheers :beer: (didn't really read that but sshhhhh it might be)
Take care with the swim if you're coming down with something though. Wrap up warm huni.

I'm hoping it will pass as it's rare for sore throats and colds etc to turn into anything much with me although I do sometimes get coughs.

By the way are other folk posting on the new thread? X

There's a lot of posts on the 2012 thread now Ruby . I'm posting odd ones and a fair few of our friends on here are posting now and again too. It is getting a bit quiet on here isn't it Ruby? (she says as tumbleweed rolls by)

A friend of mine swears that vodka cures the common cold.

I suspect the hangover makes her forget the sore throat

I just watched a programme about a hoarder, having worked in mental health I have seem some sights but WOW that house was full!

my understanding is that the new thread should only be used for posts about our preparation for 2012 - and setting of budgets

anything we're doing now that impacts 2011 budgets should still be posted on here

I'm watching and reading both threads to get back into the swing of things for 1st Jan, but not posting much as I kind of gave up keeping my records up to date months ago (due to a lot of personal stuff going on)
